Hi Kenneth, I`ve a regular soul night in Edinburgh on the first Sunday of every month.The music is right across the board.I`ts at THE STREET on the top of Broughton street. Free entry,on till 1 and the drink is well priced. The owner is a big Club DJ and is delighted to have something like this on every month,so she gives us it for nothing.Hense the free entry. Hi Jock,yea come down for a pint or two,be great to see you again. I think your right about the other 2 goodys on the lable,I`m sure I mentioned the FD LP and the Guiness lable struck an immediate chord with you.But that was at Shotts about 16 years ago and I don`t think there was much info on the lable then so to have that info then was kinda impressive. Kenneth,the Lp is called " Yesterdays People " and definately came out in 1977.I`ve had my copy for about 18 years and was told by Jock O`Connor at the time that it was a rare number to track down.He said there were another couple of Lp releases on the lable of which I think this was the first. I cant remember what the other 2 were that he said but i do remember him saying those were dog rare.It was released on Guinness records as you said.It looks to me like it`s been a smaller independant lable as it`s been disributed by Delwood records,out of New York.The release number is GNS 36001. Pete,have look at the matrix numbers in the deadwax of the`revelations`side it`s got the Tony Galla matrix S-4275-I scratched in,and on the other side has Southbound Freeway matrix S-4272-C.Absolutely `crazy shadows`mate. As for rarity it really depends how many they pressed up before they relised they`d made a James Hunt of it and how many they disposed of.

Sorry Kenneth I should have said about price,Manships guide says £150 but I`ve seen 2 or 3 copys on ebay goin for between £30 to £60,which I think is a steal. And before you ask I didn`t buy them and am now tryin to punt them,though I was tempted.I really do think it`s a great piece of vinyl and worth pickin up and you wont be dissapointed. I aint got a clue how to put a sound clip up,but somebody might kindly put one up with both sides on.

Spot on Mark,it`s up for sale for a reason,to make some doe.If its too dear dinnae buy it.We`ve all payed over the odds at some point and thought f**k.It`s the only way we learn. As for somebody emailing me and saying I`m paying too much for a record they can go and kiss my a***.Unless it`s a good mate or I`m being offered another copy for cheaper.
