Sold my copy of Benny C Oliver..Make it now..O Jobco, to my mate Alec Hosie from Dundee about 19 years ago. Traded it back off him a couple of years ago, it was still in the same condition and the same record sleeve.

I was absolutely delighted today to pick up a copy of Paul Sindab....You Dropped Your Candy In The Sand...Hype...from my mate. Was on my way to work when I picked it up. .......It was a boiling hot day and the lad I bought it from said " mind and don't let it it melt in the car...no refunds for a melted 45 ". No probs I thought, so when I got to work I parked the car in a shady spot and put the 45 under the car seat for safe keeping. After work I phoned the misses to say goodnight from the car as it was 11:30pm.....got into my pad not long after. Had bite to eat and settled down for a read before going to sleep. Then I remembered I`d left the record in the car, still under the car seat. Oh!! better get the 45 out the car and bring it in for a quick listen......Went out to the car to find the 45 had slipped from under the seat, out of the sleeve and was placed perfectly under the clutch pedal...my heart sank to a level deeper than where the Titanic is sleeping.......Yip snapped from the edge, to the label on one side. F=+kin delighted!!!!...F=+kin railway boots and USA 60s northern tunes dont mix.!!!! A positive if anything its a clean break and still plays.... but shattered....both me and Paul Sindab Andy

Pete great tune, I picked up a copy of this around 1988 and payed £40 for it then. Since then I dont think I`ve seen more than 2 or 3 copies up for sale. I`ve still got mine too, price wise the guide must be way way off. Jumpin Joan put it on a tape for me about 87 and it took me a year or so to pick one up back then. I think it had just been uncovered, cant remember what it was c/u as. Andy

Just pack them the same as your 45s but with a larger package obviosly. Take them to the post a office as you`ve done allready and the post office will do the rest. If the recipialnt isn`t in at the time when posted they will leave a card thtough the letter box and the recipiant will take the card along the next day for collection. Pricewise..1st class £2 Andy

Ady...I`ve pm`d a lad call Des Crombie from Aberdeen....Dezzy boy on here. I think he`s got the Jesse Davis disc your after....I`ve let him know your after a sound clip, hopefully he`s got the track you want.......I know he has all JDs other tunes. Andy

Nice one Jock, as many golf lessons as you wish my guru friend then have a pint or 2 on me..... . I heard VLD from yourself cica 84/85...you put it on a tape for me. Always been one of my favs...spuing I canny find mine. i`m sure it was Allans @ Portobello that I got my copy after you saying at the time. Was only 50p or there abouts could even have been 20p!!!!

Hi Scott, I sure did mate....but somewhere in the midst of time it`s vanished. One o my favs too, if you spy one I`d appreciate it if could give me a shout. It`s not a rareun but a canny find a copy! It`ll be sitting along side my copy of Milt Matthews " you and me and love " which has disappeared into the the same twilight zone. Canny find another copy of that 7inch either. Very frustrating when I do have them somewhere, I never sold them. Andy
