    Rarest is Orange Carrie which is the original first release.....Mary Jane release has more horns and " ooos" from the backing singers....Green Carrie is 70s legit reissue...Jameco is a legit release also. They're all brilliant....but my fav is the original orange Carrie release...bit more sparse and raw..you also get the brilliant "call me" on the Carrie release as Tony said.

    Defo not easy to pick up.....put up a want in sales and see how long it takes to get one!! Most who have it wont part with it....I asked in wants section with no response for 2 weeks, only being helped out by the very kind Mr O'connor who let me have his precious copy that he used to play at Allanton.....very nice chap is Jock.

    Absolutely superb tunes Flynny....it takes me a lot to get up and dance at a doo when I'm at one, but I'd have done myself some damage with this lot mate....fabulous indeed

    Loved this from the first time on hearig it at an allnighter in Aberdeen in 1985.....spike and myself sort of looked at each other said wtf is that!!...a guy called speedy played it 2 or 3 times for us that night.

    In the sales page Lenny Harkins has a fantastic Temptations Jobete 7inch acetate of- "it's a lonely world"......it's the exact same copy which came from Manships auction a while back...a beautiful rare one off item...well worth considering for the collection.

    Great thread Andy.......Rob was one of my most favorite people, he would sit for ages and chat about all things, learnt so much from Rob......his willingness to part with his knowledge always blew me away.....one in a million was Rob, really miss not seeing him. Was great hearing him on Deans radio show about a year ago. Great dj, great records and a lovely warm human being.
