I remember Blues parties in the Handsworth area of Birmingham my late father in law used to be awake all night on a saturday cause of them(couldnt sleep cause of the noise),but he used to get his own back with many a knife hole in tyres should of heard the language in the morning. the Le Metro in Bham used to play a good mixture of Ska and soul 1967/1973ish
