Don`t ask..Someone played it though in 1974 i think and people danced to it..That place was well strange at times..Anyone remember that guy-who used to walk to the centre of the dancefloor and just stood there motionless-except for clapping his hands to the music. Wonder if he`s still around?

We lose money most months but we keep doing it because we love it. The most our venue will hold is around 150 people max but we`ve never quite filled it to capacity. Most months we are nowhere near that. After paying for the room, paying the deejays and everyone else that needs paying plus drinks all night for the residents and a taxi home we normally end up losing approx. £20. Not bad for a quite awesome (and cheap might I add) party night out where everyone is invited don`t you think?

Time consuming. Plus much more responsibility and a sense of achievement at the end when it`s gone well. And if only one person says they`ve enjoyed it at the end of the night it`s been worth it.

That`s right-Don`t be so negative. It`s great to able to give our friends (punters..don`t you just hate that word..) the music they know (or don`t yet know) and love. Without promoters this scene (or any scene for that matter) wouldn`t even exist. But on the other hand it`s not just as easy as "knocking up a few flyers, going to a few venues and using SS" as you stated. But SS has made the job easier. I`ve been DJing at other peoples venues for longer than I can remember but only relatively recently (last 4 years) have I had the opportunity to actually promote and organise our own venue from the bottom up as it were. Love it.

Hello again John. The guitar intro is the black UK TMG release version with "Let`s Go Somewhere" on the flip. The backing singer intro is supposed to be the unreleased cut- Interesting that it`s on the EMI Music For Pleasure album.
