There is no AT or W in the deadwax on my disc

But i would like to ask 2 more question about this and that is

On my white Demo Four Brothers on 2 lines

Love is the Greatest Matrix 4BROS -10466 - 1 Note there is no space between 4 & bros & also is there any more matrix marks in this deadwax ?

The BROS letters are etched in capital formate

Could someone clarify if this is like on Orig's or the counterfeits or different to both ?

Only interested in record without Atco Distrbution on label

Got this record years ago

I'ts an off White label with 2 lined logo Vinyl moulded over label,label has a grainy texture look to it

To me it looks circa 6ts

Matrix read left to right with Four Brothers @ 6pm 4 - BROS - 10467 - 1 all etched in the 4 is @ about 8pm

There is no sound distortion when the disc is played loud

as it is a local label i woud'nt have thought Atlantic would be involved in distribution on the 1st press

"Your/You're Not Loving A Beginner" was released twice with very different mixes on them.

One of them, supposedly the first issue, exists with multi-coloured AND white/red labels. Both have got W 104A matrix and "Your" mis-spelling on the label. The sound is super-compressed and sounds distorted when played with some styluses.

The other one, supposedly the second issue, only exists with white/red labels as far as I know. It has got W 104A3 matrix and "You're" correct spelling on the label. It has got a much clearer sound, but mastered with almost too much dynamics. The vocal is mixed much louder than the backing and it doesn't really gel.

Top left one (Your )Should have an italic ARP stamp then W-104-A etched in then Bm etched in also a curvy line through the B

I hope they re master Your Not loving a Beginner, all the copies I've ever heard suffer from some distortion.

I think the re ref must mean reissue less than a 5er

seen White labelled 1 with Red text this could be the reissue priced @ 6 euro's

Yes, "You Can't Hide From Yourself" was released as a 7" in Holland with a picture sleeve in 1977. As far as I know that is the only place where that tune gained a 45 release at that time. It has got "I Don't Love You Anymore" on the b-side.

That 45 from Holland does however seems to have been quickly withdrawn and another Teddy Pendergrass 45 with the same catalogue number is far more common and it has got "I Don't Love You Anymore" on the a-side and "Somebody Told Me" on the b-side.

I'm certain that "You Can't Hide From Yourself" was released In Australia on PIR with "I Don't Love You Anymore" as the B side . I'll try dig out the record and post a scan.
