  1. What do you mean with Almeria being a "boutique label"?

    Hi Sebastian

As far as i know that this label did not get any distribution nationally it was a small label out of New York

A Disco collector informed me that this label was sold out of small outlets ie fashion shops not record shops

So that is why i called it a Boutique label

    sorry i can't do scans

I wonder how many PIR where issued in Ireland ? i've never seen anymore than the 1 i got

  3. Wasn't it AVI who, after SS booted James Bounty, commissioned their own dark version of this song as a message to Soussan ?

I refer to "Permanent Injury" by the Bryson Bay Band. Not bad to have a song written about you, even if it doesn't exactly give praise or adulation.

    Cheers

    Hi Andy

I spoke to Max Millward (Blue Max) about the origins of this counterfeit he told me Simon Soussan had them done as close has he could to the original Demo's as possible including the H stamp in the dead wax

Well, I do not want to leave the traditional arrangement style of the 60/70's, so my song writing and demo production revolves around new songs, but with a 'traditional method' I guess. I still think there is potential for new material, but a factor that concerns me, as somebody who likes to write and be creative....is that I cannot always afford to release 45's. I find it a strain on my resources despite many old school saying they like the material but cannot play it at gigs. Like this....mid 70's, but sounds familiar. I am just about to commission some Philly drums on it, if it works out:
