My guess would be that the first one of those was the first pressing/release on the label and the repress was done very shortly afterwards following a label design rethink/redesign to produce the much more 'in your face' label that was used in all subsequent releases on the label.
Especially as both have identical run-out markings suggesting the same stamper was used.
Sounds a very plausable insight
The disc release is rarer than the Glasses logo according to discogs
So sales of 1st press may be low

Records recorded and mastered at Virtue often used the date for the catalogue number, as do the Uplook releases. Probable they were recorded and mastered at virtue, the metal work done at Tracy Val, pressed at Superior.....just a guess.
So Karl do you rekkon both variations of label where realeased in 1969 ?
Cuz that's my thinkin' on it

any sign of Virtue in the run out as the second press info on discogs suggests Virtue is in the run out. TVC is the mastering company, they who made the stampers and who often used Superior Pressing plant located next door to them.
Virtue etched in both records Karl

1st Press Disc logo 1969
Re-Issue Glasses logo unknown
Does anyone know the time scale between the presses ?
Both records have idendical marking in the runout but there's a differance where located in the runout
Your thoughts welcomed

From Discogs
https://www.discogs.com/label/1189798-Superior-Record-Pressing-Corp-Somerdale-NJ
Superior pressings are often found with a "TC", "TVC", "ATN" or "TVCA" etch in runouts, which signifies plating performed at Tracy-Val Corporation, a separately-owned electroforming company located adjacent to the Somerdale plant. Please credit according to instructions found in the profile.
Thanks Alan

Well you asked for an opinion on the price. It's not my fault you don't like it. As for the label I can't see the point of paying for a collectors record that doesn't look good. I mean you can play it all day long on youtube. And if you only want to play it and not bothered how it looks, a Brunswick copy would do.
1 mans opinion dosnt make it the right answer
On collecting it's not perfect but all crap on the label it's part of the history of the record the sticker u would never remove
On suggestion on value I just said you where I shy but shy not offended on the response gave
Let's see if someone comes back I don't think I overpaid for this record £230 with postage in 2020 on discogs

About a £100 to £150 with all that scribbled out label damage and one of those impossible to remove "Mr Chips" stickers.
A mint copy £250 to £300.

Plus you don't play the labels imho
