A brief intro...
I've been into Soul since 1971, with the Torch being my first all-nighter. Every Weekend we'd be somewhere around the country. If I had to name a favourite place it would the The Catacombs in Wolverhampton, it had the most amazing atmosphere.
In 1979 I moved to the USA, Houston Texas to be precise and I started to put together an amazing collection, ending up with around 16,000. If it was soulful I bought it. Paying 25 cents sometimes it's no wonder I'd buy anything.
I moved back to the UK around 95/96 time and really just couldn't afford to keep my collection together. I sold everything and will always regret it. Not just because of monetary reasons but some I'll never replace.
Soul collecting has exploded over the years with 10's of 1000's of people collecting all over the world these days it really has moved into another realm.
I started collecting again and have around 250ish mostly classic's and things that have meaning to me personally.
