dereck,it is a class record,that deserves a lot more plays than its had,but that copy was overpriced. no offence meant. paid 40 uk for mine.

endearing memory for me about dave godin ,was when he introduced barbara lynn at fleetwood,i swear the man was almost crying,very touching memory of the man .

spent most of my time at the casino in Mr M with a big coloured lad from the north east,big ray aka ray butters,if you dont remember him you have never seen him,easily the tallest guy to frequent the place,the music to my memory was mostly sh*t with some great bits in between,what a way to spend your youth though.

real sorry to hear about this,and if i had the slightest inkling anyone from the north east had done this,i would cut there hands off myself,bloody disgusting behavior. but please do not let this incident blacken the name of piercebridge. ted .

what have mods got do with anything soulfull,soul music was never a big part of the orig mod scene,we are talking the WHO etc who were a big part of the mod scene,nothing wrong with that,but why have all these revivalist mods hooked onto the northern scene,i am a soul boy, been nowt else all my life,apart from an occasional football hooligan,which has got nothing to do with my taste in music anyway. so why dont all latter day mods bog off,listen to the who and hammond organ music,and leave the soul scene well alone.

i remember going to a boxing day alldayer in burnley in the 70s,and guess who was playing at turf moor that very day n.u.f.c. so most of us left to go to the match,caused a bit of mayhem,then back to the alldayer,where some toe rag had stolen half our hold alls,no trouble at the dayer though. also had a knife pulled on me in the casino by a soulie. so someone is very deffo wearing rose tinted glasses ?
