  5. See a pattern emerging, that's when it usually happens.
  6. Which one, is he sitting down somewhere?
  7. Think this subject may have been brought up before (breakages that is), but here goes. Barbara McNair on a UK demo must now be statistically worth more as there is now one less available

  9. Apologies for late reply, I think it is the same mix, however, am sure it was released at a later date to cash in on his other successes (midnight hour, etc). The Correc-Tone release was distributed by MGM as far as I am aware. Hope this helps. Regards Bob

  11. Sonny Daye - Long Long Road To Happiness - Power Records VG++ Label has swirl mark and light scratches (see scan) A side has light marks (NAP) B side has one audible mark £150 inc P&P
  12. It's quite easy to pick up on import (Mala) but getting increasingly more difficult on Action. I think it's the sort of record that get neglected as it's "not rare". But as above say's, "this love was meant to be" is a fantastic mid paced number (IMO). The more indemand things on Action tend to go for between £40 and £70, sometimes more which is the way this track should go for when people realise how good it is. Regards Bob
  13. Certainly is a great tune, but with the changes in rhythm throughout the track I found it a little difficult to dance to. Thanks all for the info Regards Bob
  14. Any ideas of the going rate for "The Contacts - You Gonna Pay". Think a few turned up about 16 years ago when there was a bit of a buzz on it but not heard a great deal about it since then. The scan included is not the best example to include but it's the only one I have. Regards Bob
  15. Not sure if this has been asked before. Are the two Sassy releases of the above both originals, i.e. with B side as "Pian Your Love Goes Deep" on one and "This is Just A 'B' Side" on the other. The records have slightly different numbers, the former having S-1002-B (on ITWYW) and the latter having s-1002-A-2 (on ITWYW). To me how the records are numbered would imply that it was released as a 'B' side on one and an 'A' side on the other. Spoke to TB at Anglo once and he said they were both originals and of similar values. Views appreciated please. Regards Bob

  22. MIne was from Geoff Alsopp, whoi had it from Boogaloo around the same time as you Simon, but on the blue label. Regards Bob
  23. Cheers Simone, I thought that there were two issues, and am thinking you may be correct as I'm sure I heard similar a number of years ago. Bob
  24. Can anyone help? Have a copy of Little Melvin on Valerie (see scans) but am not sure if it is first issue or not as I understand that it was issued twice. However, I do not know what the differences, if any, might be.Help appreciated, regards Bob
