  2. Is that an Hanson from H'feild? 5 year guarantee?
  3. just follow the moves (or antics) Best of luck, but just be yourself. Regards
  4. Bugger, missed out again
  5. Joe Matthews - Sorry Ain't Good Enough
  6. Got 8 copies of "don't leave me" as it's fantastic, and yes there are different texts as PeteS said, also "Wait till etc" was relaesed on yellow as well as multicoloured (again got several copies as its so good). To me sounds more Detroit than Detroit. Regards
  7. Not sure about that, but Tamiko Jones - Spellbound certainly is (IMO). Regards
  8. Was played at Wigan when opened (73)
  9. Love em to bits as I consider them to be great to dance to, but far removed from soul methinks Case of Tyme - Manifesto Shakers - One Wonderful Moment Regards
  10. D'oh, Obviously, not thinking straight, long day at work. Regards
  11. Also on Spectrum (US) and Action (UK) Regards
  12. Not now you know. Regards
  13. A little bit closer to home methinks Regards
  14. Don't they sell sub-standard in charity shops, that is unless you find something like Mark Loyd on Parlophone for £0.50. Regards
  15. Improvement showed with the use of speech marks
  16. Off topic a little, but how many times was "Crying Clown" released and on what labels? Regards
  17. Seem to recall Sam playing the Jewels on an emidisc, as he didn't like the record but knew the dancers loved it. Remember him also playing Bobby Goldsboro - Too Many People (was big at the time as too were his others, eg - Its too Late). Regards
  18. Used to get plays at Loughborough Town Hall around the same time, in the upstairs room where they played the rarer stuff. Regards
  19. My take on it is THIS record may as well not exist because with the condition and price it is commanding, I cannot imagine it will see any turntable action and will just be a trophy piece (although I could be wrong and apologies if I am). As said above (# 50) I agree whole heartily, although I too would like the record, I'll settle for the boot for my own pleasure and the original to dance to at someone else's expense. Regards TOTP
  20. Rock'n'Roll!!! If only Rock'n'Roll was as good Regards
  21. Weren't it played around the same time as Whisky Talkin? Sold my first copy to Eric Phillips some years ago, soon replaced it though. The boot was a light green colour I think. Regards
  22. Eddie Ray - Glad I found You / You got me - PRIX Records Yellow Label Mint Condition £65 inc P&P
  23. Just a few of a minefield of choice Barbara Lynn - Take Your Love and Run Jackie Day - Before it's Too Late Homer Banks - A Lot of Love Inez and Charlie Foxx - No Stranger to Love Robert Parker - Lets go baby (where the action is) + anything on the Capitol Soul Series 66 and such like. I think back in the day the choice of soul music supplied by the major (and minor) British labels was phenomenal to say the least. Regards
  24. Not forgetting "Don't Shut Me Out" on One-derful Great track and so underestimated (IMO) Liz Lands RIP
  25. Royal Esquires and Chris Cerf now sold Jerry Fuller - I Get Carried Away - Challenge Demo VG++ (Light Scuffs and small wol) £75 PM if interested Regards
