P&P INC
Up for grabs a very rare single on a UK issue.
The Drifter - Long John Baldry - United Artist
Condition - Mint
Of all of the versions this cover by the Canadian comes closest to RP but (IMO) is actually rarer than RP
PM if interested
Oh and by the way I would like £70 inc P&P

A UK must have
Your colleague sold a copy for a ton a couple of years ago, can't be much more than that now (ask PS). The boot is perhaps rarer nowadays and only a slightly different shade of colour and non the less sounds the same.

Never borrowed a fiver as I recall, drove you there mind, also bought Carol Chandler on Steeltown on the same night.
Seem to recall a young lady that took everyone's fancy when she hit the lower dance-floor (bet you do too).
Both sides are great (imo) topside being a Supremes type and t'other a Detroit class record. Also came out on Track (UK) as did a lot of Detroit stuff in the 60's primarily by the Polydor label (polydor, track, etc)
I say buy loosely, Johnny Fingers got £3 on it at a niter near Leeds a few years back. I um'ed and arr'ed for a while, only for him to give it me, job done.
