Not sure of the label design on Queen City, is it dark/light top/bottom or other way around?
Got a copy Dark top/Light bottom but has stamps in run out grooves.
Is this the norm?
Info appreciated thanks
Where to? although I know nothing about Royal Mail, other than they charge me somat like £20 to tell me a parcel as arrived from US of A which I was expecting anyway,
APOLOGIES FOR THE RANT
HOW BIG IS BIG, Don't get much, no, nowhere near BIGGER.
What an insight to a fabulous, yet underrated (by the masses) group.
Could only identify 4 records from hearing at venues (Wand, Labeat, AGC? and SoulTown)
Any more?
Fantastic read
Seem to remember reading in Record Collector around 83, the launch of SOS. Worked at Surridge Dawson (Newspaper and magazine wholesaler) after neglecting the scene in 81/2. Used to talk to a rep (Spotlight magazines) who came in warehouse occasionally. Had photo's of his scoot and memories of Cats and Torch.
How wrong of us all to presume it was going to finish,
In the words of Timi Yuro (or Baby Washington, remember Steve Smith treating us to that one) Never be over etc
BTW I started with issue 11, and what a fantastic read. Well thought out, passionate and thoroughly enjoyable to say the least. Still read them over and over again and got some catching up to do as I download PDF files of missed issues.
If OK with DP can get some later issues copied and loaded as PDF.

Played "Just because your love has gone" only this morning and thought what an absolutely great record that is perhaps neglected too much in favour of the other side.
As per Friday Night (Mon thru Thurs) turn the record over.

Looking through collection and realised I have two copies of Clifford Binns.
Both look similar, however one is a slightly darker shade of green (unfortunately not orange) and the spacing between the #014 and A is different (see photo).
Can anyone advise are they both second issues, are they boots? (not walking ones either)
Thoughts appreciated please

We had to wait a while for The Sweet "Something etc" as the boot had instro as flip in favour which is what usually happened as instro's were also big in the 70's
