Glenn Knight played it alongside “Just Can’t Trust Nobody” Chuck Holiday on Gloria

    Tip Top Soul Club

Good evening one and all and we hope you have all had a soulful previous weekend. So it’s that time of the month again when Tip Top Soul will be having it’s second event at this great new venue. As always the music policy is rare and underplayed Soul. This month our resident DJ’s Rob Gray and Stefan "Bob" Gair are joined by Special Guest DJ’s Simon Hunt & Lee Fletcher We hope you will come and join us.
  23. I do recall back in the 70’s at venues, records like Jimmy Mack (MWIOF) and Luther Ingram (both sides) were played alongside Marc Copage, Eighth Avenue Band, etc. At the time I was a little confused but nonetheless embraced what I liked. It was Neil Rushtons “Heart of England” Soul events I think, where, “I presume” his intention was to bring about all factions of the Soul fraternity together
  24. Also played by Soul Sam at the same venue/time
