Marks's home, Mesen and TonyMK went to see him at his drum tonight, I've just got home, he were on about going to Lifelines tomoz, but he listened to common, we had a good chank, put the world to rights and listend to some VERY good sounds . Bottom line, we need to keep reminding him to take it easy for a while, other than that he's sound.

Ady, he's OK but keeps doing 20 at 64 , at our age methinks more haste less speed for a quicker recoevery .

For those of you who know Mark (Blueten), he had a 'serious. heart attack at home late Saturday night and was rushed to Kettering hospital. Kimbo and Lisa have seen him, and he's doing well. NOTE : Visiting restrictions apply at Kettering General Hospital, 2 visitors for 15 minutes only, across whole hospital due to an internal virus outbreak, but you can send E cards n the hospitals web site.

Excellent graphics, just like I remember it,the Cats was, (and meself and Blueten still think it'll NEVER be beaten), the best event NS wise in the UK EVER. Never been to an all nighter with the ATMOSPHERE that place had, (actually the George at Wilby and Torch were'nt bad either)....but it were the tunes that really made it what it was !!!!!!!!!.

NOT Northern BUT some bloody good dancers, and sorry, dont know the tune.

I know this is slightly off topic BUT I was more amused than annoyed by the guy who moaned about a disc he bought. I got this response from a buyer in States, for a record sold on Ebay, I had it graded as VG, lots of scuffs BUT no scratches and plays excellent, stain on label (AND I thought you bought records to listen to them)his comments , and I genuinely do not know what tears on labels he is referring to, personally I don't think he does either . It was a nice try to place the record for the picture in a sleeve to cover the damages on the label edge, but some people don't buy records just to shelf them straight away after receive, no, some people take them out to have a closer look and probably to play them. Well, it could has happened accidentally without thinking about it, but you didn't even mention the label tears on both sides in your description while you had the record out of the sleeve to tell people how nice the vinyl is looking'' Offered him refund, he refused it , because the shipping was more than record cost, he paid £28 inc P&P for a rather scarce Jamaican issue reggae track he started getting very bitchy when I asked if he were one of these people who liked to flash records about that nobody else had BUT never played them......talk about scratch your eyes out, I was reading his email replies and pissing me self NB Apparently he has no problem with the condition of the vinyl, JUST the label ????

I AM NOT a baggy, t-shirt wearing Northern Soulie and NEVER have been, only badge I've EVER wore, or worn back in the day, were a TORCH badge. Me and better half were in Australia this year, Bondi beach visit, café on beach, the tunes playing in said café were brill, people great...the conversation were NOT about NS, (BUT its a starting point ), and no one was wearing Casino badges etc etc, . Someone with just a Torch badge on their T shirt, (not a patchwork bag/t shirt covered in Casino badges),.....that's different

IF, back int day, you were a male 'PROPER' Allnighter attnding Northern Soulie, YOU WERE SHRIVELLED AND WRINKLED, age had sod all to do with it !!!!. And has been said, no matter where in the world you are these days, you see NS you have a starting point for a conversation, well apart from the Northern Soul T shirt wearing scooterist mentioned earlier :)
