  5. I,m guessing there would be some near you, when you next go for your canal walk have a listen, they prefer telegraph wires , tops of bushes etc to sing from. it,s quite a high pitched song but as Russell has posted it you will have heard it by now.
  6. Louise. Special request just for you. Yellowhammer
  7. Yes love. The yellowhammer song is a little bit of bread and no cheese. Will dig out my picture as a request for you. Do you think it will catch on........... Photography request spot . X Steve
  8. I believe he was avoiding me at the last real Bury nighter . but he wont escape me . he will be tracked down and he will have to suffer like the rest of you Steve
  9. Len. Who this Mike Work guy ?
  10. Len. Trust all is well my friend . Winsford in its transition period between Pete Hollander leaving the promoting and me getting involved really struggled for a few nighters but it gradually improved to healthy numbers again, nothing like the times of the 700 -800 soulies but we got there. Nantwich. The only nighters i remember where at Nantwich civic . That had spotlights around the edges of the dance floor. Fantastic venue that got ruined when the council re-furbished it Steve
  11. Keith. Sent you a pm mate Steve
  12. Singing Dunnock and Portrait
  13. I,ve just realised where this photograph was taken in Bury. just before the lockdown i went for a interview at the factory that,s behind the security fence on the right hand side. They,re the worlds largest manufacturer of car airbag materials. The strange world of northern soul Steve
  14. As promised the first ever Kestrel that i have ever seen near me, actually hovering about 250 metres away . Picture is cropped and not the clearest that i have ever taken Plus a Goldfinch portrait Steve
  15. Brilliant pictures Paddy. Very spooky that you have posted these Kestrel pictures because I have lived in this house about 17 years maybe, and I have seen Buzzards, Sparrowhawk. Peregrine and even a Red Kite never a Kestrel until today. Will post the pictures later. Steve
  16. If there was a sign that said free things, you could have taken things with no repercussions, unless it was a trick note written by the rabbits themselves and they're really werrabbits looking for their next victims, that's a scary thought. Werrabbits on the loose in deepest darkest Lancashire . Beware of the twitching noses.
  17. That looks lovely Louise. Apart from those scary rabbits, what and why where they hanging around ? . Up to no good if you ask me . X
  18. Johnny. It was awesome listening Thanks Karl especially for the Wilson Williams, putting a title to the tune. Other standouts for me .Kchemistry .Laura Lee . Luther. Steve
  19. Thanks Chris . Still miss Bretby. Excitement building as you crossed the bridge over the Trent in Burton then turn down that lane. Heaven Steve
  20. No.... but i could imagine
  21. Mike. Start going again when things get back to normal. What's normal . Will put you and Sarah on the not so straight and definitely not narrow when lockdown has ended
  22. Your far to lovely to have / develop a scary corner. X
  23. Louise the "chest"waist high really dance floor had long gone when these pictures where taken . You and wittering never
  24. Yes I went to the last few . I coudnt understand it either why no one bothered. The first block of flats on the left had been built by then plus there was a problem with cars get stolen when you parked up the other side of the arches. Maybe didn't help.
