  2. Brilliant Andy. Cheers for sharing mate

  4. Legend of the scene . Sleep well. R.I.P and thanks for the music. Part of the sound track of our lives
  5. Love Sedge warblers, probably be too late for me too see any this year the way things are going but you never know. always the optimist
  6. Why thank you Mrs wellie boats. Smug Saturday soulie Ste here. I hope you managed to survive all that excitement in the early hours and you stayed safe from any creatures of the night. It sounds like to crows escorting a bird of prey away from their territory . Where the wings like fingers sticking out at the end if so it would probably been a Buzzard. See my earlier post for clue, if they where more ponited it would probably be a female sparrowhawk , that,s going off the similar size clue. X
  7. Thats lovely Ali. Good to see you on this dark and dodgy thread. Ooops sorry thats just me. Hope your keeping safe and well love. XXX
  8. Definitely Dusty on now.
  9. Buzzard and Goldfinch from the back garden and tonight,s Sunset
  10. I,m sure i mentioned the wren earlier.
  11. I've got no likes left for today. (Never enough likes in my world ) I've had to reply so as i don,t seem ignorant, not that you think i am anyway. Just saying like Mrs. X
  12. Mrs. Me laugh, as if i would. Anyway we will have that much catching up to do we will probably forget , you may even forget to sing. Its part of the dawn chorus what ever it is and may i suggest that you set your alarm before the birds get up and sing to them to see if they like getting woken by a big bird (5ft 7 1/2" ) and as your already awake you could record the offending bird song and post it on here to see if anyone can identify the culprit. X
  13. That will be why it was still dark Mrs. I,m really at a loss as to what this bird could be especially with your very explicit description ( is explicit the right word ) ? X Really Shrill. Try a Wren
  14. Last nights full moon. ( flower moon ) Guess it,s called the flower moon because its the time of year that flowers are in bloom on the grasslands of North America
  15. It could have been the amazon amateur bad boys choir sent to wake you after their bungled picture robbery at mine yesterday . That,s how they respond to a failed attempt instead of sending the Avon ladies with beards later with the goods You said it was dark and you could,nt see it. Did you remember to remove your sleeping beauty mask
  16. Thanks Andy. All well and safe mate, certainly broke the monotony
  17. That,s stunning Mrs. When all this madness is over that walk is on my list. Will need a guide though.
  18. Avon ladies ( with beards ) thought it was a bit dodgy. They did smell nice though. We good thanks Louise. Bobby came back and said sorry. He couldnt jump the gate with his body armour and handgun weighing him down so he had to smash through it. If you want my photo,s Mrs your more than welcome , X
  19. All good thanks Mike. We heard the crash and Lou went out to see what had happened when the robber with bobbie in pursuit ran across my drive about a metre from where Lou was stood. She said that close she could have touched them
  20. Just had a very exciting few minutes here in North Manchester. Armed robbery pursuit. Stolen car crashes into unmarked police car outside the house, armed robber jumps over my 6ft garden gate with armed police officer in pursuit whom crashes through the gate and disappeared over my back garden fence snapping a tree in the garden. In minutes more armed bobbies, helicopter and cars everywhere. Then CID and SOCO two offenders taken in to custody. Waiting on repairs to the back gate. Hopefully a new one .
  21. Steve. Surely this should be in the relevant corona virus thread not on this one mate
  22. Stunning. Simply stunning. Thanks for sharing Steve
  23. Brilliant Andy. I love mooching and finding things like these. Then when you get the results it,s a proper buzz
