Tim . I'm guessing you are on about I've got something good as opposed to Your money my love. One of my all time favourite records. I thought that the original had licenced from or distributed by Atco records underneath the Four Brothers. ( which is on one line ) Didn't know anything about a reverse label variation.
Ste
Great pictures mate. I've seen 2 parakeets nr me both times I've been driving. Actually heard them calling out the back garden but couldn't see them. Would love to photograph them
Thanks for posting as always.
Magnetics. Great record. Seems like its joined the elite buyers league.
Other extreme when has a jimmy Powell been a auction record £65 ffs just laziness
Crazy baby . Crazy price
The parkway writing on the top of the label has a shield either side on the demo. Not sure about the issue as I never had one. Can't remember if it was vinyl or not though
No kill joy for me. I love fishing the canal's but my old local stretch at Runcorn was ruined by the Manchester ship canal company and Halton council by levelling the towpath and using white stone chippings to make it cycling friendly. Actually head butted one knob head riding the towpath when there was a fishing match, he had been warned about it but carried on and ended up riding over a £500 section of my pole. So he got a headache. Prick.
Ian i will give you a £5 and chance it. I do remember that there's a west and east coast press of this and it was only booted on I think the east coast single shield variant.
First visit to my local Pennington Flash since March. The hides are still closed for whatever reason Wigan council think .
I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse through the reeds of a male Kingfisher but as the reeds where really moving in the wind and across the Kingfisher, i had to use manual focus to lock on the bird otherwise the focus was locking onto the moving reeds. Its created a slightly surreal photograph . I,ve include the cropped version of the photograph so as you can see the effect of the moving reeds on the bird
I remember swimming around that island when I was a kid. There used to be a swimming pool made out of concrete at the bottom of the island and it was flushed out twice a day by the tide. A dead blue shark got washed in one day and no one would go in the pool until me and my brother found a stick to poke it with, made sure it was dead then investigated it. Amazing creature. With sharp teeth and soulless eyes.
Couple of Bottle nosed Dolphins. every time they breached they where pointing away from me unfortunately so i didnt manage a side on or face picture. and they where about half a mile out from Newquay harbour so the pictures are heavily cropped . Always next time
Just starting to go through my photos from Pembrokeshire to see what is suitable for printing and adding to my ever expanding portfolio, which i still dont know what to do with yet
Cock Pheasant
My books didnt have a immature Reed Bunting picture, just winter summer plumage variants. Record collecting mistakes are much more costly than bird pictures
Andy. Just been in touch with a proper twitching friend of mine and he thinks its a immature Reed Bunting but he was surprised when i told him where it was in a bush on a Cliff on the Pembrokeshire coast path.
Looks like the mystery is solved. No Twite, ( yet )
Andy. I stayed at a Dyffryn Ardudwy camp site many years ago. Think they're the largest sand dunes in the UK. First place that I ever managed to see Dolphins.
Just had 18 Swallows fly out from Tenby heading towards the Devon direction, didnt see any yesterday despite been out and about for 9 hours and only saw 2 the previous day ( Wed )so i,m guessing that i will be lucky to see anymore now until next April. Always a sad day to see the last head off
Correct mate. First decent picture of a Rock Pipit, love Curlew especially the call as the fly over the misty moors and estuaries so haunting . They're on the rspb red list 90 % down on numbers since the 70,s, still plenty down here in Pembrokeshire, seen probably 30 yesterday.
Love Port Merion, you actually staying there ?
