  1. Have you tried Shazam ?
  2. Heron taking flight from a rival
  3. Peacock butterfly Mick. They tough to overwinter in semi hibernation then as soon as it warms up they wake up looking for nectar, before they lay there eggs.
  4. I've been saying exactly the same thing for years. Some of the stuff John sells are way above the going rate because its John, no one else seems to be able to get the prices he gets. Not knocking John over it, can only blame the lazy punters for not shopping around .
  5. Rain. Is one of those records that you had to be there tunes. Personally I like it and the memories that goes with it. Not particularly rare but I wouldn't have any idea how much it would cost
  6. Thanks for posting as always. Incredibles. £362. I personally would have thought about £150 . These prices never cease to amaze me
  7. Steve is a true gent, ( even for a Liverpool fan )
  8. Just found this. ( 1978 i think )
  9. Steve. It should be no more than £20 . I've seen it for sale for a lot more than that. Three figure's. Its a joke . Even on here but I haven't said anything out of respect for Mike and the unwritten law of commenting on people's sales. They tend to remain unsold when they are asking stupid money and they keep relisting. No doubt sellers will say its supply and demand. Its not . Its a rip off. We all know how much they are really worth. Dont buy , simple
  10. Looks like more academics trying to justify their whatever it is they get. I definitely won't be buying a copy at those ridiculous prices. Is it aimed at the middle class punks who can say I used to go Wigan pier The only thing that stood out for me was the chapter regarding the real names of the DJs Who did they ask in these face to face interviews? People still attending venues, nighters, soul nights, dayers ? No doubt someone on here more knowledgeable than me will have a answer or two
  11. Tha A side was played at the Casino. Sweet and heavenly melody.
  12. Forgot to post this from my recent visit to Marbury Park just a mile North of Northwich. Cheshire. Just a small amount of the approximately 20000 Starlings that where coming into roost in the reedbed at the western end of the mere
  13. Not until recently. It was on a natural history program earlier this year. Cant remember what one though. Could have been springwatch mate
  14. Dave. My old junior school field boundary was a ditch with plenty of oak trees and climbing them was always a discovery, acorns, oak apples with the hole in them made by the oak gall wasp. My god that was 55 years ago.
  15. Does it seriously get any better than this. Sounds as good now as it did the very first time I heard it all those years ago. It took me 20 years before I finally managed to get a Okeh issue.
  16. Thanks for posting Kev. Like you I have memories of been his driver for a short while in the late 80,s.going from Widnes to Kidsgrove to pick him up from his mum's then onwards to whatever nighter. Rest in peace Keith and sleep well Ste n Lou. X
  17. Gilly. As long as you and Nicola are safe and well. We can wait for a book. To quote Chuck . Good things come to those who wait. Ste.
  18. Its the best record to go WOOO to.
  19. . Love that description
  20. So are half the records on this list and even more of all time classics and as I said a lot cheaper. All a matter of opinion
  21. Thanks for posting as always Can anyone please explain to me why the Vel-vets is so expensive . Whats the attraction . Its not rare . Its just a run of the mill record, there's far better records on even this list at a 1/3 of the price.
  22. No mate. Marbury Park. Called this afternoon to see the 2 bittern .Unfortunately it was almost dark when the starlings turned up and then it was to dark to see the bittern catching them. Going back on Thursday afternoon as the weather is forecast good
