    Early start at Elton this morning 5.50am. A few new sightings including a Brown Hare ( no picture ) sorry Six Sand Martin over the Reservoir was the first of the year for me, about four or five Chiffchaff calling and a Cetti,s calling First time i,ve ever heard a Yellowhammer singing there. ( no picture ) But i managed a Male and Female Treecreeper one of them coming out of a nest hole in the Bark. Not sure which is Male or Female Plus i seen 9 Roe Deer including this Buck and Doe

Talking of Tony,s do you remember when Dave Evison, yourself and me where stood at the bar and I commented about you and Dave been Twins but separated at birth, and the look on Dave s face when I said that Martyn had ended up with the good record collection was priceless. You where obviously the younger, better looking twin.

    Thanks for posting as always. Valentinos. Patti & the Emblems. Both Crazy prices . How much would my old black Kapp issue be worth. Artistics on a Coral demo is probably more rare than the above 2. Yet almost half the price of the Valentinos and a third of the price of Patti & the Emblems.

    They not much more really. £10 upto £25 But no doubt some chancers will try £50 . Then say reduced to £40 .

    Just going through my records and guess what. Mine got a bloody crack from edge to centre. Taped it on other side but got slight noise now. So I will be getting a new one, still plenty out there for £10 upwards. Still a fantastic record Ste

    I was 14 and not allowed to go by my Mum and Dad. A few if the older Widnes lads went. I had to wait until I was 16 before I managed a nighter at the Casino. Never looked back.

    Promoters did work together. The three main nighter promoters in the North at one time was Andy Dyson. Andy MaCabe, and the Winsford team. And we did sit down and sort out dates between us for a few years and it worked fine. Fred in answer to your statement you are wrong sorry. There is no reason why It cant be done again. Ste

    Already happening Tim with clashing, especially nighters. But you get slagged off on here for mentioning it on another thread by people who have never been involved with promoting venues so haven't got a clue what they're talking about.
