  1. Ed. I can't see why people would want a full set unless they where just obsessed with collecting things of lists because its a very irrational list built on people's likes of particular records. If I was a millionaire I still wouldn't buy possibly 1/3 of those records for the simple reason is I don't like them. So my top 500 wouldn't be the same as yours or the books Rationale behind that is why buy something you don't like Ste
  2. Thanks Kev. Sounds interesting Ste
  3. Thank you for taking the time for commenting on the pictures. All feed back good or bad is gratefully acceptable. Regarding the bino,s I use Celestron HD 8 x42 which are fantastic for the value and are comparable with one,s twice the price . Obviously not as good as the top of the range stuff from various manufacturers costing upwards of £1200. But perfect for my style of bird watching in general woodland areas where you don't need the reach like on estuaries or big open moorlands when 10 x 42 are more useful unless you want to go down the spotting scope route. There's a few apps that are good Collins bird guide costs about £13 to download and is very , very detailed. There are plenty of free ones available, the one I use is Merlin
  4. Thanks Neil. plenty of kingfisher pictures mate.
  5. Dave. One was seen over central London the other week and in various places along the South Coast
  6. I know. Its amazing. i think its a first to Neil. Shame i cant go to see it probably a once in a lifetime like when i was lucky enough to see the Bearded Vulture in Derbyshire last September
  7. Where i stay is two miles from Narberth mate. Defo meet up
  8. Andy. The walrus was first seen in Ireland a few weeks ago then disappeared only to turn up in Pembrokeshire last week I,m down there first two weeks in June mate.
  9. Can't believe what's turned up in Tenby. OMG https://www.instagram.com/p/CM-eokaBPof/?igshid=10eoobiirqm7d
  10. Ken. Totally get where you're coming from with the wandering from room to room looking for your soul hit.
  11. Thanks Mike. As someone who apart from this lockdown has never really left the scene since 1975 I really don't want to hear the same records over and over again everytime I play out ( not repeat plays on the night ) but they play the same records month in month out which generally happens at most venues which in turn limits the venues available for the likes of myself but as plenty of my mates still prefer the oldies I sometimes make the choice of mates or music. With 2 rooms I generally have the best of both worlds. Selfish yeah why not . Hence the reason I tend to spend more time in the 2nd rooms at venues that have them or go to venues that don't play mainly oldies. Before any of the Frank Wilson lovers spit the dummy ( as they do ) its not aimed at your choice of music. Ste
  12. Mike. Why don't you have a poll regarding the 2nd room. There's not been a poll for a while. That could then incorporate a thread regarding the rooms. Ste
  13. Karl. On my one and only visit to Stafford rangers the week before lockdown I actually asked for the Kevin Fingier collective. Don't wanna cry no more. Guess what . Played without batting a eyelid, dance floor reaction was good considering most people would never have heard it. As its a totally across the board music policy venue it fitted in seamlessly . Hats off to the promoters. Can't wait to return in July when it re opens
  14. Lol. The best thing about when there's a restocking program is the introduction brings on the residents to feed. Normally bumper times for at least a few days. Few weeks of your lucky.
  15. Very nice Mal. Nothing heavier than16.lb That's bigger than the biggest I have ever caught at 15 1/2 lb. But as a match angler thats probably not to bad.
  16. Male and Female Gadwell
  17. Karl. There was supposed be 630 I think the number was quoted as unreleased Marvin Gaye tracks that where found in the vaults no other artists where mentioned mate.
  18. I did say 600 copies to go with the 600 unreleased tracks in the vaults and was released with the iconic two globes design label choice for the promotion , harking back to the 60,s label
  19. When I bought my Marvin Gaye. Its killing me .( love starved heart ,) I lost the picture sleeve somewhere because I filed my copy in a white cardboard sleeve for DJ purposes as you mention Frankie. It would be interesting to find out how many actually got released you mention 200 , I thought 600 . Possibly somewhere in-between. Who knows ? Ste
  20. Thank you for sharing as always . Marvin Gaye is a fair price for a tough one especially with the picture sleeve. Considering there was ( allegedly) 600 pressed to go with the 600 unrealised Marvin tracks found in the vaults Cliff Nobles. Come on who has bought this at this price. OMG It was a soul pack record
  21. Thanks Neil. Do you take any pics yourself ? Ste
  22. A good friend of mine was outbid two year ago on a Marcia Hines. Wizard 7" on ebay Australia from a private bidder.. He was actually buying it me for my 60th birthday which would have been a amazing gift but it obviously wasn't too be. Ste
