  2. Think its a great idea keeping kids out. i know i,m lucky because mine are grown up enough so as they dont want to play out with there dad anymore. But some people aint that lucky and cant do it. But at the end of the day it was there choice to have children ! No baby sitter . Stay in i did

  9. Cant speak for Soul Night Promoters but all the Peolpe who run the Nighters have got together and between us we think, have managed to post dates that dont clash. Its easy for us lot but people that run soul nights dont have the flexiblity that we have because there is only a handful of us running Nighters.

Got to say for me Jnr Walker was the best i seen at the Casino, Was one the hundreds locked out for the Betty Wright gig so cant comment but everyone i spoke to afterwards said it was Brilliant, So many artists done the casino, one of the worst for me was the Elgins but thats just my own opinion

  12. Not spent big money £20 on a then virtualy unknown (in my area) Tony Clarke Wrong Man Demo. Played it to empty floor then within a month same venue full floor
  13. I only get this feeling, when you walk etc is Dee Irwin or Chuck Jackson.the Dee Irwin version is very earthy, atmospheric production and Chucks version is more polished seventies production. hope this helps.

  20. Never missed any of them, living in Widnes at the time so only a 10min bus ride away infact it was close enough for one of my mates Kenny to ride there on his push bike.

  22. i used to wear lee riders, ben sherman , jay tex, labelled clothing and then there was bowling shirts, dungrees , como shoes, crombie,s , full lenght leather coat. blazer with centre vent and chrome buttons on front and up the sleeves with casino badge on breast pocket. and before anyone asks not all at once.
  23. Got to mention the irish lads, all young, musically aware, who can put a few of us who have been around for a long time to shame with there knowledge of the music and this scene which when you consider there age its scary. but there is a future with talent like this around.
