  12. Got to mention the irish lads, all young, musically aware, who can put a few of us who have been around for a long time to shame with there knowledge of the music and this scene which when you consider there age its scary. but there is a future with talent like this around.

  14. From a personal point of view , i buy a record because i like it and never sell. But i know a lot of people who are chasing there dream record, what ever that might be ! Buying and selling there way to it is the only way most people can afford to do it.
  15. Sorry andy . you had given me the dates for andy and chalkys nighters but i put them under your banner soultown. Sorry boys
  16. A lot of the niters i go to i hear people saying that there are not many people in tonight because of other venues being on at the same time. Well the good news is that myself, Andrew - Cardiff. Andy - Soultown. Chris / Marcelle - New Century. Mace - Queens Hall ( Stoke ). Have all got together and worked out the nighters for next year without we hope not stepping on each others toes. Lets bring the scene back together. Best Regards. Steve

  20. maybe we have been spoiled over the years mate, we take most of the venues for granted, over the pond they just seem to be up for it more than we are maybe because the dublin scene is so much younger than our own.
  21. Gotta stick up for my friends in the great city of Dublin. believe me its one of the hottest hotbeds of northern/ rare soul it can compare to any where i,ve ever been. Anyway Andy they dont want our old mugs in the film but they sure can portray us from way back then
