Win: Book - I Searched For Soul and Found The Stars by Richard Gilbert
Winsford Soul commented on Mike's article in News Archives
I'm. Not entering this competition because I'm already the proud owner of this fabulous book and the less people that already own it and enter the better because it gives someone else the chance to own and read the exploits of Gilly and Co on their amazing journey. Good luck to everyone Obviously my humble opinion -

As much as I actually like Billy Thompson ( I was the proud owner of a Wand demo ) I'm not sure it was a big enough record to be a original top 500 tune. -
Would love to have one of those. How much are the red Modern issues worth these days about £250 ? Ste

Paul. I recently seen this on Instagram and asked Kev was it the original Paul Sadot production as you can see by my question and was it going back out on tour. He never got back to me. Don't know why as Kev normally replies . -

Thanks Andy ☺. I was told about these foxes a few years ago but just never got around to going to see them. The cubs are probably born now and still underground, can't wait to return to see them in a couple of weeks time when they should be active above ground

I've just received the news that has sat me down. Dave Stokes has sadly passed away today. I'm gobsmacked. I can't ever remember going to a nighter without Dave been there.. My thoughts at this sad time are with his family and close friends. I bet Dave Caffery and Eddie Batten and Sheila are numb. . Sleep well and Rest in soulful peace my friend until we meet again at the nighter in the sky Ste and Lou. XX X Dave is in the middle, with Dave Caff on the right and Ed on the left

Rick. I noticed that a few weeks ago but I only use Discogs for the odd reference. I thought it was just a problem on that day . So I guess it's over to the sellers on here that also use Discogs for answers Ste

Andy. There's a red kite feeding station not far from where my Dad is buried in mid Wales called Grigin farm. I've never actually been there yet but I pass it god knows how many times. Its the actual place where they're first started feeding them back in the 80,s when they reckon there was only 6 red kites in the whole of Wales and possibly the UK. What a success story

Brilliant picture,s Andy. Thanks for sharing them

I will swap you Neil. Last April was the very first time that I have ever seen a Red kite in the whole of the Greater Manchester area. That's how rare they are still around here. I've got plenty of photographs of them from various places in Wales .
