    In my opinion I cant believe there's no mention of any of the following Widnes, Warrington. In the mid to late 70,s there was a soul night 7 nights a week in Widnes at different venue's. Warrington had the Carlton then Parr hall. Then there was St Helens, Where the Saints club ran for i think 11 years through the 80,s and 90,s The Saints was responsible for breaking as many tunes as any of the nighters that where knocking about at the time and Baz M and Flanny just don't get the credit they deserve.     Thanks for comment. I try to play this type of stuff when i,m out and about. normally to a very good reaction from the dance floor and collectors alike. Why they get bypassed i dont know. A lot of late Wigan tunes have been overlooked by the majority because if it aint rare it aint cool or trendy. Yes there where some bad tunes played But there where some awesome stuff too. Steve

    Steve. I,ve got the other side of the coin . My son lives with his mum but he,s at a age 13 where he would rather stay at home and go out with his mates than come to a strange city where he dont know anyone and stay in with his dad. So basically i get to go out all the time. There,s times that i would love him to say Dad i,m coming over to yours this weekend so i can spend time with you but that dont happen much. So Steve enjoy it mate while it lasts. Steve

    Never get to soul nights before 10pm.Not that i go many soul nights. Saying that i never get to nighters before 10 either.Normally leave the house about 10 then have a drive to where ever. Unless i,ve been asked to DJ. Then i get there early doors so as not to play anything thats already been played. Steve

    I had the pleasure of DJ,in for Sam on his first nighter when he took over and also his last one . Loved the place, that and Tony,s. When they both closed in the same year i was gutted. Its because they closed that i became involved with Winsford, it was heading the same way and i couldnt let that happen. Which thankfully after a lot of hard work the venue is on the up again. Steve

    Have just returned from a intellegence gathering trip into no mans land. We have nothing to fear from the invaders. We fought them on the beaches. ( Washed Ashore ) We fought them in the Streets ( Run for cover ) and we fought them in the houses. ( Bricks , Broken Bottles and Sticks ) Some of our american allies have sorted them out . Steve
