I,ve done a bit of promoting and its a thankless task. but why slag a venue thats just started, everyone needs to start somewhere. it takes balls to put your head and your money on the line. Constructive criticism is welcome by any promoter. If they are man enough to take it on board and do something about it is another matter.How do you think these people feel right now.     Nail on the head Billy. I love this music of ours as much as anyone but i seem to be spending as much time outside as i do inside. At the last Middleton for example there was at any given time about 60 people outside. Same with Winsford, Morecambe etc etc. I can see in the coming months a down turn in attendances because as much as you love the nighter scene if you smoke will you be arsed going somewhere halfway across the country to freeze your balls off because you have to go outside for a fag.     Just missed a Gloria Scott 45 yesterday it went for £265 on evil bay. got in from work a hour after auction ended, gutted i forget to bid. i paid £300 about 4years back for my Marcia Hines 45. Steve
