That's what my original comment was about. I'm not having a go at anyone who don't smoke, moaning about the smell etc, etc Was having a go at the large council run venue's more than anyone else because of the total disregard for people who smoke and there lack of adequate shelter. Steve

Bought mine about 8 months back. its got F/W scratched in the run out groove and its on the yellow label, think i paid £120. Went down well when i played it at Middleton earlier this year. Steve

My ex bought it for me for my 40th Just found the company sleeve that it came in. got a few labels mentioned on it starts with phonodisc then delta, congress, regency, tamla motown , cadet , karate, chess , regis , checker , del-fi and audio fidelity so i,m assuming that phonodisc had the canadian rights to all the labels mentioned or at least the distribution rights. Anyone ? Steve

Dont know what the people on here think but we,ve had to put up with getting treated like leper,s now for 4months and its realy pissing me off and putting me off going to nighters esp the ones at Civic venue,s who just dont cater for smokers in any way shape or form. I,m not having a go at promoters by the way it aint there fault. Last week at Middleton myself and upto a hundred other people got pissed wet thru and froze to death trying to have a smoke. Any sensible suggestions.( And no Fcuking smart answers saying pack em in,) to overcome getting treated like kids trying to sneak a smoke at school. Steve

I,ve done a bit of promoting and its a thankless task. but why slag a venue thats just started, everyone needs to start somewhere. it takes balls to put your head and your money on the line. Constructive criticism is welcome by any promoter. If they are man enough to take it on board and do something about it is another matter.How do you think these people feel right now. Nail on the head Billy. I love this music of ours as much as anyone but i seem to be spending as much time outside as i do inside. At the last Middleton for example there was at any given time about 60 people outside. Same with Winsford, Morecambe etc etc. I can see in the coming months a down turn in attendances because as much as you love the nighter scene if you smoke will you be arsed going somewhere halfway across the country to freeze your balls off because you have to go outside for a fag.
