Dave. A few years back at Sheridans a Jimmy Mack, My world is on fire turned up in mint condition. A record i,ve been after for ever and i aint never seen a mint one. Anyway the guy wanted £450 which was tempting until about 1hour later another guy walked in with another mint one. They had to be counterfiet. He DJ,ed at my wedding in 1982. and he wouldnt let me go the nighter afterwards with him Only joking. Once travelled up to Carlisle in the famous white van for a nighter with Mr Rae and i think Mr Brady Still laugh when i think of the stories they told. Seen him at Prestatyn last week. I asked Steve Whittle to play it at a Casino revival nite bout 15 years back and he said How the fcuk did i suddenly come up with that. Smiled and said if it empties the floor it would be ramned that far down my throat i would need a sylus stuck up my arse to play it. Played it and i think the dance floor reaction was one every DJ dreams of. Brought the roof down. Simply Awesome Steve

Not taking the entry tax but i,ve worked as a doorman at nighters a few times. I now seem to spend most of my time outside nighters these days. smoking not working . My other half Lou collects the door tax at Winsford and loves been sat ther all night Steve
