  1. Cant remember mate. Too long ago
  2. On Caniel label if I remember correctly Ste Another big one from Wigan
  3. Mick. Hope you're safe and well . Everything you have said is true. It's been the longest by almost 12 months that I have ever stayed away from this scene and its been a pain but I'm still here another year older but not necessarily wiser and I'm raring to get back to the only life I have ever really known. Yes we have lost a few good ones to this covid shit and other things but they will be missed and also remembered with endless tales of mischief and stories that they where part of. Did you see the Tony,s reopening possibilities.? Now that would be special Ste
  4. Andy. It was family only originally then I got told off Lou on Wednesday night that it was on FB that friend's could go and stand outside. So myself and 5 others turned up. Very nice and fitting service, then we went the Rope and Anchor to spend time with Daves family for a few hour's Yes Billy on the this England programme dancing to Judy Street.
  5. It was time to say goodbye to Dave this morning and even under the restrictions imposed on us by the covid . I think we did him proud. Sleep well in soulful peace my friend until we meet again at the nighter in the sky. Ste. n Lou XX X
  6. Never listened to any of them. Definitely on my list now. Thanks Mike
  7. Think for me it would have to be the very first edition of rarest of the rare Vol 1 If vinyl only it would have to be the original RCA. Compilation. Jumping at the Go Go. Every single track is a absolute classic
  8. Zanetti actually takes the time and effort to post John,s auctions on here. Its a labour of love for him. For which we are thankful. Perhaps you could do the same with Pat,s auction results, that's if you wanted to or even have the time.
  9. Frankie. The Jelly Beans was double that a few years ago when it got reactivated, it's now dropping down to a more realistic price, still got a way to go yet though in my humble opinion Ste
  10. Thanks mate . I love Swallows the epitome of the English summer .Two hours walking around with the camera and lens. I wish they would come to see me instead of the other way around.
  11. Thanks for posting as always my friend . Tony Galla . I love it but it must be almost double the going price. Victors. Since when has this been more than £150 . Yes I know its a issue and not the demo that's everywhere but omg. Shane Martin. Fantastic record. No idea what it's worth. Rare I'm guessing on a UK issue ,it's joining the ever growing list of £1000 plus UK records . They're finally getting the money that some of them deserve because of the great record, recording quality and the rarity. John I take my hat off to you. Ste
  12. Gilly. The pleasure is all ours. Thanks to you mate and of course the lovely Nicola and not forgetting the Star's who we all love giving us a chance to see them as normal people with dignity, modesty, humanity and humour Steve n Lou. X
  13. Had quite a morning with a variety of birds. Residents, Summer visitors and Winter visitors, Aerial battles. Song Thrush and a female Blackbird that thinks its a Ring Ouzel Sand Martin , Swallow Fieldfare with a Wheatear Lapwing with a Raven Willow Warbler
  14. Special record. With special meaning. Rest in Soulful peace Ian and sleep well my friend Thanks Laura ☺. X Steve
  15. Yes mate. That's right.
  16. Ken. There's a earlier thread regarding this.
  17. Looking at four in July. At least two in August. Three in September. Can't wait. Its great been 18 in my head
  18. Bloody hell Andy. Thats a good way up, just checked where it was. Inverness and Mallaig furthest i,ve been
  19. Scotland mate. Where you heading ? Only six weeks to Pembrokeshire. You still going Narberth mate ?
  20. Looks Stuning Andy. Not sure i could manage those ascents these days with my asthma. Peak District. Crowden up to Laddow rocks last year for the Bearded Vulture was a tough one and thats nothing like where you was mate. I did have big camera gear , food , drinks , clothes so without camera gear may be ok taking it real easy. Lol
  21. Ed. Johnny Hendley, Johnny Hampton. I can't separate them on how good I think they are. Just fantastic, You do see Johnny Hampton for sale occasionally but I can't remember ever seeing a Johnny Hendley. Great memories of very special times .
  22. Thanks Neil. They are a summer visitor to the UK and like Swallows spend the winter in Africa. They are stunning birds and the colours are amazing, just wish I could have done them justice. They spend the summer predominantly in the West of the UK and breed on coasts as well as upland moors.
  23. While I was putting my camera gear away in the boot of the car a Male Chaffinch was sat on my front door and pecking at his reflection in my wing mirror. Obviously thought there was another male in his territory. And there was bird poo all over my gleaming , newly polished and gloss finished car. This picture was taken with my mobile phone 20210417_110304.mp4
  24. Managed a couple of pictures this morning of a male Northern Wheater . The harsh light does not do the colours justice and they will have to be classed as record shots for now. While i was attempting to take the pictures a Brown Hare run across the field ,which i just managed to see and grab a picture . Again sorry about the quality. When i was walking back round Elton returning to the car i noticed this female Pike weighing about 18LB basking in the sunshine. I had no filters or polariser with me to cut out the glare for the picture ,then further along the bank there where two more . Unbelievable
