  3. Thanks Mike. I've just mentioned about the disappearing post in the site support section. Please delete said post Thank you
  4. Mike that's a good point. As there's going to be plenty of events that will be sold out via their Facebook pages before they even get onto forums like this. There's still plenty of people who currently don't use or have never used Facebook that will be disappointed regarding these venues and the lack of ticket availability via other means
  5. Mike. Good point because I'm guessing that plenty of events will be sold out before they even come on to forums like this due to their use of Facebook for ticketing, there's still plenty of people who don't currently or have never been a user of FB
  6. 4th one is definitely a take on Be young Be foolish Be happy. Don't remember it though. Definitely remember the 3rd one but no idea who or what.
  7. Great recordings Andy. Looks like only 3 cubs have made it this far because from my experience they will be all out together at that age and as for the lack of adults it's baffling mate but the cubs look healthy and fed enough so maybe they are getting looked after by camera shy adults.
  8. Andy. Sent you a PM mate
  9. Neil. When I first saw it I was just like you, speechless and as most people that know me will tell you. That doesn't happen often
  10. Ed. I wouldn't buy a record of that rarity/ price from ebay unless i personally know the seller and how reputable they are regarding the legitimaticy of the record and the circumstances. ie who was selling and why. And if I knew all that I would have probably have made them a offer before it went down the ebay route
  11. After the English bluebell woodland is there anything better than a wild Garlic woodland

  16. . Martin when I was a dancer it wasn't for me. Just like little bit hurt, Keep on keeping on, among others mate.
  17. Thanks Neil ☺. I get daily visits from all the common finches. Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Chaffinch and Bullfinch. Think the most numbers at anyone time are GF 16. GF 6 CF 6 and BF 9. Unfortunately not all at the same time but quite often I will have all 4 species together in small groups.
  18. Thank you for posting as always my friend . Don't get the Saxie Russell thing at all. Personally I wouldn't pay £15 never mind £1500. Understanding its a anthem but not for me. Never liked it. Len Jewel. Now that's a tune. Brilliant record Is it worth over a grand ? Somebody obviously thinks so. Ed. Even Lou said NO. People need to get out more. That says it all really.
  19. Garden Goldfinch. Bullfinch ( female )
  20. Sounds like a good plan
  21. Andy. They where taken at Burton mere and with the 70mm-200mm f2.8 lens before I got the 500mm. Shows how close they where. Two males chasing a female but unfortunately I couldn't get a picture of the female and she was the brown coloured type which you don't see often
  22. Andy. Good job I have a few pictures of them to keep me going until I get the chance to see them again
  23. Brilliant Andy. Not heard a Cuckoo for a couple of years and not seen one for about five year's . The iconic sounds of late spring/ early summer
  24. Martyn. I believe the Sony has been bettered by the new Canon AF system on the R5 and R6 and that's from a camera shop owner who actually uses a Sony A7iii and A9 as her go to cameras. The eye focus of birds in flight and moving animals is supposed to be almost cheating its that good. and there's supposed to be no lag on the evf compared to a normal viewfinder. But at £2600 R6 and £4500 R5 plus grip. Not cheap. Fortunately they have brought out a adapter for the EF lens to RF without any loss of optical quality, the new bodies has upto 5 stops of stabilisation and 3 stops in my lens. So I don't need to spend £15 k on 3 new lens to suit the new bodies .
  25. Stunning Martyn. Glad to see you back out and about mate. How long have you been using the Z6ii ? How are you feeling about it ? I was looking at a Canon R6 mirrorless camera last week. Will be getting one when I return from Pembrokeshire next month.
