  2. That's such sad news. What a story those walls could tell. Steve
  3. They breed in the Artic, then spend the winter's In relative warmer climates of England, Scotland, Wales etc etc fattening up on the stubble crops that the farmers have left. Steve
  4. Bill. Nice picture's. I'm assuming that the swans are Whoopers in the 2nd picture Steve
  5. Am going to be out and about tomorrow around bodnant gardens and the bewtys coed area of Snowdonia hoping to get some nice autumnal picture's and who knows what else. Steve
  6. Martyn. All this work and no play isn't any good for you, especially at your age. Your accountant will be happy though. Steve
  7. All these posts about what the critic's think. It's our opinions that matter to us on here not someone who doesn't understand what it's all about and have no real interest in the film , they're only reviewing it because they are been payed to do so. Steve
  8. Mark I thought it was. Hope your well. Steve
  9. Sister love £133 c,mon give me a break. Who pays these prices. Steve
  10. My new Canon camera finally hits the shops on the 17th November but once again rip off Britain strikes. The USA price is $1800 that converts to £1120 but the UK price is £1549. Why don't these manufacturers set a price that is the same worldwide. Steve
  11. Dave .I'm only looking on a kindle at the moment and the picture quality is rubbish when you expand it, but it looks like a juvenile cormorant with the pale underbelly Steve
  12. Andy. I'm with you mate. Winsford nighter used to cost £2000 1 room 8 DJ,s. That didn't take into account going out to promote the nighter every Friday and Saturday sometimes to two or three venues a night driving God knows how many miles and paying into the venues. People think it's easy money. Steve
  13. What a tune. This was played at Nige Shaws funeral. R.I.P my friend Good luck with your search Steve
  14. Missed it. Don't the BBC have a catch up thing for radio program's ? Steve
  15. I gave my Marvin Gaye single away because I had I real one. (No smileys still ) Yeah Gavin used to play a mean tune or two in that back room. So many memories. Bought my Marcia Hines wizard 7" there amongst others.Think there was only about six known singles at the time most people had it on the album. Best regards back at you my friend Steve
  16. It was Sam Moore that was running it in the end Peter. Think Chris Anderton was the original promoter, Chris king run it for a while including his 40th when he gave away the Marvin Gaye love starved heart 7" single, Steve
  17. Forgot to mention that I had the privilege to DJ at that last night. Steve
  18. Good Evening Peter. Hope your well my friend. Yeah the blink of a eye.only know because it was Lou s birthday yesterday and someone posted a picture on fb from Bretby with Lou on it and then the bombshell that it was 11 years was also commented. Steve
  19. Just been informed that it's 11 year's tomorrow since one of the best niters ever closed its doors for the final time. Bretby. My God where's the time gone Steve
  20. Played a requested Paul Newman .Ain't you got a heart at Sheridan,s once and completely emptied a full dance floor apart from the lad that requested it. Then the follow-up record refilled the floor. God the drugs where good in those days. Steve
  21. Here's one for the record books. Apparently bee eaters have bred in the UK for the first time in years. A pair of them succeeding in raising three chicks. They are truly stunnning birds. Steve
  22. What about Martin as in house Steve
  23. Well it's October 8th. And I have just seen a juvenile swallow fly over. Probably no more than sixty feet above my head heading southward at a rate of knots. Obviously separated from its family group and also the latest by a long way that I have seen any in the UK. Good luck on your perilous journey It amazes me how they can find there way even though this bird will have never made the migration before and like I said it's on its own it was still heading southward. Steve
  24. One of my all time favourite tunes. Nice label.makes the Oliver one look a bit dull. Would have bid if I hadn't sold up two years ago Steve
