Been out and about up around dove stones today. -1c, Thick fog and about 5" maybe 6" of snow. two hours uphill walking through the chew valley and couldn't see anything so decided to return to lower levels where the fog had lifted slightly. Managed to see two red deer hinds, a dipper and a few stonechats, will have to go through the pictures when the condensation has gone of my camera and see if there's anything to post. Steve

Not many birds out and about today managed to see a small flock of redpolls and siskins, no pictures. Found out that there is a small population of mountain hares up on the moors and they turn pure white like there northern cousins didn't see any though but I will be back Steve

With a bit of luck mate you may catch your rods back. It happens quite often, especially on small water's like yours. Tight lines P.S.. you can get baitrunner reels and also butt locks to fasten your rod handles so you don't loose anymore gear. Steve
