Been out and about up around dove stones today. -1c, Thick fog and about 5" maybe 6" of snow. two hours uphill walking through the chew valley and couldn't see anything so decided to return to lower levels where the fog had lifted slightly. Managed to see two red deer hinds, a dipper and a few stonechats, will have to go through the pictures when the condensation has gone of my camera and see if there's anything to post. Steve

  3. Good luck. When I sold my collection I was in a state of shock for a while and even now two and a half years later when I hear certain tunes when I'm out and about I think to myself. Wish I still had them. Steve

  10. Not many birds out and about today managed to see a small flock of redpolls and siskins, no pictures. Found out that there is a small population of mountain hares up on the moors and they turn pure white like there northern cousins didn't see any though but I will be back Steve

  13. With a bit of luck mate you may catch your rods back. It happens quite often, especially on small water's like yours. Tight lines P.S.. you can get baitrunner reels and also butt locks to fasten your rod handles so you don't loose anymore gear. Steve
  14. I'm not the jealous type at all. It's so hard typing this through my tears. Ha ha . I'm no carper, that's just so boring. Just love fishing and watching wildlife. Steve

  22. Dave they're gorgeous little birds, the flock was about 12 strong today. Couldn't get a decent group picture though as they kept flitting about busy as bee,s. I also seen two lambs in a field. 11 Jan don't thing I,ve ever seen any that early before Steve
  23. Just make sure they're record dealers not drug dealers I,m so jealous. Just starting out on this journey called northern soul. I sincerely hope that you find the thing that we have found .............. The most amazing way of life that anybody could wish for. Good luck and enjoy Steve
