  1. Upstairs , downstairs. Northern Soul or modern soul Steve
  2. Bobby Paris. Anthem. For once John's description is right. Not a bad price, in my opinion Steve
  3. Remember using braid for the first time about twenty years ago when I fished for gaswise Liverpool. The only importer was Scott's of northwich and it was a Dutch sinking braid, it was amazing, the difference in showing up the tiniest of bites off roach compared to normal nylon monofilament. Steve
  4. There's been a confirmed sighting of a sand Martin at Elton reservoir over the weekend. Spring is definitely on its way. Sand Martin are the smallest and the first to arrive back from Africa but the 7th March is I believe a new record for the north west Steve
  5. Chris. I've got two of the original baby ones. I think they're 2500,s or possibly 3500,s they're tucked away on a couple of tip rods I've not used for a few year's, they're loaded with braid, which is not allowed on these commercial fisheries for what ever reason the owner's have decided. Steve
  6. Shelly. Please keep up the great posts.not had chance to listen to them all yet, don't know a few of them, as you can tell I'm a big fan of Ruby and the romantics. Steve. X
  7. Chris. Is that one of the original shimano baitrunners ? If so got to agree mate. Only looking on a kindle when you enlarge the image it goes all blurry and can't make out what it says on side of reel. Steve

  11. Pete. It's a amazing photograph. A once in a lifetime. I've just seen it on the national itv news. They showed a few pictures. And it all ended happy ever after for both green woodpecker and weasel Steve
  12. I played it out at a few nighters over the years. Great underrated record . Christian I think I paid about £120. Don't know what the going rate is these days Steve
  13. Neil. That Trend seems to be occurring in the city centre venues where you have a generally much younger audiences looking for something less mainstream. And some of the more younger /aware djs have cottoned on to that Steve
  14. Neil. Only the one's that aren't dancing.. off we go back to post one Steve
  15. I like the bamboo label design or the Hot Chocolate one Forgot to add. I always had a soft spot for the Speed label, don't know why Steve

  21. Pete as always. Big thanks. Karmello Brooks. Is a very special record. You posting Al Williams kind of makes up for me missing George Hunt play it for me last night at Carl Willingham,s birthday party. I was a bit late getting there and missed his spot Steve
  22. Just remembered this one. Ketty Lester. River's of salt. ERA records. If there's anything wrong with this record it about a two minutes too short. Don't know if many know it but if someone could post it please and be prepared to have your heart destroyed Steve
