  1. Just laughed when I seen this from back in the day. James was after a rare record and he was going to sell his Joseph Webster for it. How rare do you have to go.
  2. Carolinasoul. Is a trusted and respected dealer as far as I'm concerned, But hey what do I know always stuff to be had cheap if you want to scroll through the thousands of records, admitted not all mint but most of these records are 40/ 50+ years old what do you expect. Ste
  3. Thanks Neil. The Canon 7d mk2 is a good camera but it's the Lens that makes the difference mate Canon 500mm f4 mk2 it's very special. Do a quick Google search and you will see it's the first choice lens for sports and wildlife by most of the world's top professional photographers
  4. Thanks for posting as always my friend Love Johnny Bragg. Wigan memories for me hadn't realised it had gone to that sort of price though as nobody ever plays it. Joanie Summers . I know its the much harder issue and a great record but not at that price ex Mrs bought me the Joanie Summers demo and a Linda Griner. Canadian issue for my 40th Bottom & Co. . People jumping on the crossover bandwagon it's a major label release that's not even rare. . Gobsmacked again
  5. That's such a fitting tribute. Sleep in soulful peace Barry Ste. X
  6. Really struggling with the Badgers this year, they are not turning up until late when there is hardly any light even from the cottage windows. In previous years they where turning up at least 1 hour before dark and up to 9 of them so it was relatively easy now its only 4 and last night it was 10.43pm , still a bad photograph is better than no photograph
  7. Joe from Dublin has just mentioned to me that the second picture is actually a Mermaids tail . Love that description
  8. Neil. This is how far away the Dolphins actually where from me. The pictures are rubbish but it gives a sense of scale
  9. Mick. At least you got away with not playing nine times out of ten. Or getting strangled by Sian or me. Gutted it's off
  10. Thanks Neil ☺. The dolphin in front of the yacht was the closest any came in today, all the others where about 1/2 kilometre out and trying to guess where they are going to surface is a nightmare mate.
  11. Mal. Just for you mate. How big did you say they where . This big ? What a view the people on the Yacht must have had, if they seen it And something almost surreal a lot further out at sea a Dolphin had breached and as it returned to the water it left a splash that,s the exact replica of its tail
  12. Green Bridge of Wales panoramic view
  13. This is very interesting. While the owner of the farm I'm staying on was doing a bit of landscape work he moved a large boulder and this piece of fossilised tree / plant was discovered
  14. Yes Trev the top one. It's silver on my screen
  15. Trev I could have your white label test press now. Bought it of Chris Anderton a few years ago. I've just added the picture of the silver issue that Pete Smith said was booted which backs up my story
  16. There's a earlier thread about this and I've just grabbing a screenshot of what Pete Smith said
  17. Trev. So all those silver ones at Wigan where all originals . News to me. I've only ever had a Gold issue of both world without sunshine and You succeeded. And a Test press of World without sunshine
  18. One for Dave. Wild Strawberries, the fruit is only the size of a Pea but they are so good and full of flavour nothing like the majority of shop bought ones these days And last nights crescent moon over a very dark Pembrokeshire sky, i say dark but unfortunately not dark enough for any Milky Way pictures
  19. Morning Susie. Welcome to soul source. Enjoy the site and the many records that are posted in the media section. Most people on here are not that far from being residents in care homes themselves and some should have been put into care Ste.
  20. Thanks Robb. Never knew anything about the legit silver issue and I bet most of the people here in the UK will be the same. Ste
  21. Meadow Pipit again in the late evening glow but this time the sun was behind me
  22. Hi Ian. The Sandra Phillips. World without Sunshine sounds like a proper one on the Gold Broadway label. Bootleg was silver. Florence Devore will have pink and white on the label if it's real one. Good luck
  23. Called to see if the Peregrine Falcon was showing this evening but i had missed her by 30 minutes . As a consolation i had my best ever view of a Grasshopper Warbler this evening, sat on a barbed wire fence reeling away in the late evening glow
  24. Thanks Andy. Likewise catching up again mate and meeting your lovely wife Gill. Weather has definitely improved 22 C yesterday, 26 C today Sunny all week they reckon . Sorry mate Nice pictures, so much to see, so little time
