  3. Normally a winter visitor to the coastline of the UK. It's indeed a rare one inland and in the summer to boot Steve

  12. Chalky. There's a Sigma sport 150-600mm for about £1300. That's got a good reputation. Steve
  13. Chalky. If it's a Canon 70-200 f2.8 make sure it's the mk 2 because it has image stabilisation. You can always get a tele converter to boost the reach. 1.4 or 2.0. A 2 x would give you a 400mm at f5.6. Steve
  14. Chalky. I'm using a Canon 500mm f4 is usm mk2. and a Canon 70-200 f2.8 is usm mk2 . They are both amazing lenses. Perfect for both Bird and wildlife photography. Steve

  23. Thanks Rick. Never got to Cleethorps Pier. It would have taken days from Widnes to hitch it in those days and couldn't have afforded the train. Steve
