  5. Goldfinch. On Tweezle seed head Steve
  6. Mal. That's sounds fantastic, teaching and passing on your knowledge. Would love it with their permission for you to post there progress over time. I've never had any formal training with my camera, all self taught and still only a novice. just a love of nature and a small amount of knowledge into bird and animal behaviour that allows me to get the photographs that i do. Steve
  7. Never get slated of me mate. Each to there own musically. Personally It's only the pigeon holing of the music that makes me laugh and who makes some of these names up. The only one that makes a sort of sense is the modern soul name. Even that plays stuff from the 70, s and 80, s so not modern in the true sense of the word. Steve
  8. Ed. It's the opposite of the down back scene mate. ffs who is making these names up. Steve
  9. Peter. Trust your well my friend Personally I think its a nice idea. not everyone has a camera, not everyone is poetically or literary minded so perhaps combining the two could work. Steve
  10. Just two pictures taken today on a flying visit to Burton Mere. Redwings taken from about 60metres away and heavily cropped. They are simply stunning members of the Thrush family, that visit the UK in the winter from Scandinavia. So shy, so skittish. Steve.
  11. Yes mate alway seen more Ordinary Joe's. 1st copy cost me £25 as a unknown tune on a demo. 2nd copy again a demo £50. I know the issue is a harder version. Steve
  12. None of this has got nothing to do with advertising executives that are now in there 50,s wanting to get Northern soul , (their youth ) back in the spotlight. Has it ? I think so Steve
  13. Terry Callier. Ordinary Joe. Can't believe that it has achieved a four figure price even if it's in dollars. Brilliant record and one of my all time favourites but how much even for such a rare item as a issue . Is it because Terry Callier has passed away ? Steve
  14. Ted. Hope you're well mate Your so right. The last time I heard it played out was when Kenny Burrell spun it at a do at the Edinburgh Hilton about 10 years ago Steve
  15. The famous crush. You trying to go one way. Your bag another way. Girlfriend, mates etc totally different way even your coat at times had a mind of its own. Wouldn't have missed it for the world. Steve
  16. Taken today in the church grounds nr me. Narcissus . Don't think I have ever seen them flower in January Steve
  17. Pete. Is it Girl ( ilove you ) West coast distributors ?. Nice record mate Steve
  18. Has everybody had there camera's stolen. ? Nobody's posted anything since 2nd January. Including myself. Weather / Lighting on my days off has been awful which is stopping me at the moment . Forecast good for next Wednesday onwards frosts and blue skies. So hopefully I will manage to get out and about. Steve
  19. Ed. As I've often stated before on this forum regarding certain records. You just had to be there to understand everything. A great record of its time from the greatest time of my life. Steve
  20. This is a definite book to add to the collection. Steve
  21. I knew there was one that's basically opposite of the issue colour wise. Hope that makes sense. I only ever had a issue. Steve
  22. Great record from the Casino great memories . I think 1977. So many years ago so could be wrong. Steve
  23. Wasn't there a version called a Dansette if my memory serves me right. Steve
  24. The said record was in a car that was sold. Record returned safely to one relieved owner. Record was probably worth more than the 2nd hand car. Steve
