Barry Meleedy. Kenny Onions. Paul Shirley. Simon Hunt . There's plenty of slightly lesser known but none the less talented DJs about who put great sets together. Steve
  7. Ed. It's only the 2nd Billy Thompson I've seen on the local. Indeed a rare one. I had the much more common wand demo. Steve

  10. Had the pleasure of seeing him and then meeting him , even got my picture taken with him. Terry then autographed my white sleeve cover of Ordinary Joe. With the words to Steve your just a ordinary Joe lots of love Terry Callier. Steve
  11. Thanks Graham. They have really enjoyed the last few years as a breeding species in the UK and are in the top ten birds according to the RSPB big garden Bird watch. I get up to 14 at anyone time on my feeders on the garden. As you rightly point out they're as bold as brass . Steve
  12. Just a thought regarding photographs. Has anyone set themselves a target or must get picture for this year ? I have. Would love to get more birds of prey pictures especially Red Kites and buzzards. I think there's a lot of room for improvement in my birds in flight photography so that's another way to go. Would love to hear your thoughts Steve
  13. Totally agree about the prices are not going to drop any time soon. We've been seeing a steady rise in prices in the last ten year's and in the last five year's prices have rocketed especially the more well known classics. Records I would class as great but not rare are fetching hundreds of pounds whereas personally think they should be much cheaper. Don't know who is buying them at such prices, speaking to people in record bars and collectors it's not them or they're not admitting to it. Steve
  14. What about upfront oldies Hat. Coat. Door. Just leaving Steve
  15. Jeanette Williams. Would say £150 - £180. Not sure about the others. Steve
  16. Mute Swans show signs of courtship behaviour. Lovely heart shape Steve
  17. Martyn. Did you mean you or the Tawny Owl ? Steve
  18. Goldfinch. On Tweezle seed head Steve
  19. Mal. That's sounds fantastic, teaching and passing on your knowledge. Would love it with their permission for you to post there progress over time. I've never had any formal training with my camera, all self taught and still only a novice. just a love of nature and a small amount of knowledge into bird and animal behaviour that allows me to get the photographs that i do. Steve
  20. Never get slated of me mate. Each to there own musically. Personally It's only the pigeon holing of the music that makes me laugh and who makes some of these names up. The only one that makes a sort of sense is the modern soul name. Even that plays stuff from the 70, s and 80, s so not modern in the true sense of the word. Steve
  21. Ed. It's the opposite of the down back scene mate. ffs who is making these names up. Steve
  22. Peter. Trust your well my friend Personally I think its a nice idea. not everyone has a camera, not everyone is poetically or literary minded so perhaps combining the two could work. Steve
  23. Just two pictures taken today on a flying visit to Burton Mere. Redwings taken from about 60metres away and heavily cropped. They are simply stunning members of the Thrush family, that visit the UK in the winter from Scandinavia. So shy, so skittish. Steve.
  24. Yes mate alway seen more Ordinary Joe's. 1st copy cost me £25 as a unknown tune on a demo. 2nd copy again a demo £50. I know the issue is a harder version. Steve
  25. None of this has got nothing to do with advertising executives that are now in there 50,s wanting to get Northern soul , (their youth ) back in the spotlight. Has it ? I think so Steve
