  2. Yes. Bringing back memories of when I had just moved and I was cleaning the car on the drive when I heard all this northern from across the road. They guy was cleaning his windows and had a tape or CD playing loads of oldies. Went and introduced myself and it turned out to be the boyfriend of a old school friend. Steve

  17. Andy. There's Parakeets all over Manchester. Had them fly over the car in Middleton. Heard them calling near my house in Blackley. Steve
  18. There's a place in the sun is about the only one I could think of. Not my favourite artist. Took Lou to see him for her 50th at the Manchester evening news arena. She loves him. Steve
  19. Chalky. We both had the pleasure of listening to Butch at the recent Springfield nighter when he played sublime sets in both rooms. He has been at the top of the tree for what seems like ever. Steve
  20. See my review from Willington Saturday night regarding Dave Eyles set. But it was the way the set was put together that was class alongside the quality of the tunes. Never seen a Del Larks Queen City demo before. Steve

  22. Another reason. The stupid amount of records that come up for offers or auctions that are £ ( insert own value ) Never in a million years are most of these auction record's Lazy greedy dealers. . You know what they are worth or have a good idea. Put the price on. Steve
  23. Supply and demand. As the records are getting older some are probably breaking or becoming damaged so reducing the available stock of some rare to start with records which in turn drives up the prices. Which along with people having more disposable income as mortgages are paid off etc equates to more money for less records. That's my simple take on it. Steve
  24. The bonus from todays trip was this view of Snowdonia across the Conwy valley from where I was Steve
  25. After travelling nearly 100 miles today I achieved a life times ambition and was extremely lucky with only having 2 hours to spot this tiny little bird called a Fire crest. I think its Britain's smallest bird even smaller than a Wren. Unfortunately its a rear view Steve
