    Been going niters since 75. Still go now. Nothing will ever come close to those halcyon days of station road in my opinion but the torch , wheel, Stafford, Keele, Rugby where ever you went first people will say the same. I've seen this scene evolve more than most from the 70.s through the 80, s and 90,s when you where lucky to get 1 niter a month plus soul nights up to today's full calendar. If you want to evolve and take in everything this whole scene has to offer like I have than that's entirely up to you as a individual but whatever route you take just enjoy it for what it is and dont take it to seriously .     That night was special. Only about 300 turned up because of the I think £17.00 entry fee. The way he described how and who the songs where about was simply fantastic. Then when he sung Where I'm not wanted . Oh my God. Goosebumps even now thinking about it. Unfortunately the recording of the night has disappeared as far as I'm aware. Been asking about it for year's. I knew who had it but he said that he's not got it now !! Steve

    ID question for Martyn I think its a Willow Warbler but not sure ? It was sulking about in the bush not calling or singing so I couldn't ID it that way . Sorry its not a clear picture mate couldn't get a clean shot through the branches then it disappeared. Steve
