  6. Thanks Dave. My own fault as I couldn't remember what my original looked like from years ago but it was only £15 so no big shakes. I will give it a friend of mine who's sister ( Bev R.I. P . XX ) loved it. Ste
  7. Mike. Ive just posted a Stafford Rangers review in the Events review section mate Ste
    * i have added a extra star. Was i looking forward to this night after the 16 months forced absence and me only just discovering the club the week before everything went tits up and we got locked down. Think it was about 8.45 pm when myself and the fellow reprobates i travelled with arrived after getting lost ( ROB ) didn't we. Very warmly greeted as i handed over the door tax for 4 , said a few hello,s to some old faces. Nige, Carmen, Sean, Len and as i turned around i clocked 4 other members of our little not right gang from the Northampton area who by the way said that they wasn't playing out Saturday. Fibbers. . The most important thing,. the music was fantastic loads of 70,s and Crossover with plenty of oldies and a few R n B bits thrown in to cater for everyone's tastes. If i had to choose one single record from the night it would have to be Paula Parfitt. Love is Wonderful. Such a happy go lucky bounce along tune with the added bonus of very special memories from the greatest time of my life at Wigan and of a special young lady. Massive thanks to everyone involved , Promoters, DJ,s and the really, really warm and welcoming punters. I unfortunately cant make Septembers night but roll on October when despite returning from holiday that day and a 200 mile drive home i will still be venturing down to Stafford from Manchester that night Ste PS the sign on the door never stopped Rob from talking.
  8. Jeff. I prefer Player play on side these days myself mate but the other side has got great memories attached to it from days/ nights way back in the mists of time
  9. Here's a scan. Nooney Rickett . Tomorrow is a brand new day IT 107 with 326B in the run out. With slight indentation before the centre Looking like a boot then Gents thanks for all the help. Len I'm coming for you mate ( don't worry Len Dopson it's a different person from the Northwich area ) Ste
  10. I'm sure it was Norman Rickett .
  11. Thank you. Yeah mine has the same approx 1 inch IT letters on the top. Player play on is a great record that needs a few spins out and about
  12. Bit of help guys and girls. While going through a sales box at Stafford rangers I noticed a Nooney Rickett. Tomorrow is a brand new day. IT 107 Label looks Silver not Matt grey but then the deadwax reads 326 B . I used to have a definite original but was a long time ago now but I'm sure it was more digits. It was only £15 so not great loss Thanks in advance Ste.
  13. Where's,the wants ad. I can't see it or is it on FB ?
  14. Dave. Got a last minute hitch, not go be able make it mate. Gutted . Will be in touch regarding donations. Have a great day for a great cause Ste
  15. Martyn. Are you sure it wasn't watches aswell as the records and camera lens my friend. Place things on a higher shelf so that the lovely lilliputian Carol cannot see them
  16. Surely promo,s are to promote the forthcoming release so they should be free or cheaper . Would love to here what the record companies that are dealing with the new releases have to say. No doubt a load of bull quoting costs etc . Simple unless your giving away to radio stations as demo,s ,just do release singles at whatever price. Instead of charging extra for radio station / demo's and ripping people off for nothing else but pure greed.
  17. This will be only my 2nd visit to Stafford rangers, my 1st was literally the week just before the country went into lockdown, I was really gutted after finding a venue that totally catered for my across the board music tastes and to have it snatched away but it's back and I really can'twait.
  18. Thanks Steve. Much appreciated mate
  19. Dave. Have you got any idea of DJ times yet mate. Like who us the unlucky one that will have to put up with me while I'm there ? Thanks ☺
  20. The condition was VG + but postage was on top at I think $20 from California. . Never had to pay import tax so I don't have a clue mate . Not bought from USA for a good few years.
  21. Seven Souls. Okeh issue just went through ebay at $460 which works out at £334 roughly . Absolute classic record. Very fair price .
  22. Dave. I will be there at 2pm mate for a hour or so. Had already made arrangements but wouldn't miss it otherwise . Looking to catch up mate.
  23. Likewise Andy. Always good to see you mate
  24. I'm not saying mine was I thought it was but I'm not sure. As I sold it to Chris Anderton about 7 years ago The last one for sale on here 2020 was just over £400 the one 2 years before that was £650 both demo,s but I would have thought the first price was a lot nearer the value not £650, that's a joke.
