For many years it was a £100 limit then it went £150 before I knew it was up to £300. Which I never got round to exceeding. Almost bought my favourite ever record when i was offered one for £1000 less than the going rate . If it had been in good condition i probably would have bought it. it looked like it had been a frisbee on the M6 for a few months .that's the only thing that stopped me, for that sort of money it needed to be in really good condition Steve -

These decoys normally have a short effective life. Apart from the Heron lookalike for your garden ponds which surprisingly works. I once worked at a recycling plant that had a major problem with seagulls . They fitted a plastic hawk on a flexible pole which worked great for a few days then the gulls realised it was no threat and returned to the factory Steve It looks like it's trying to shoo the birds away. Not read it yet but . A book is a very personal thing. What is relevant to one is the opposite to others. I would recommend Gethro,s Book. They Danced all night for a very personal look at this scene Steve
