Hello Soulgirl and Rach, well i'm not so much a newbie but it wasnt long ago i was walking into New Century for me first nighter!! now i collect viynl and promote me own night.. the net plays a great part in gettin the sounds out there to new folk and for all of us to share and hear stuff but there aint nothing like the 45! no way and travelling to venues to hear stuff that isnt on the net! thats where its at... you both have valid points..But i feel there is definitely enough newbies gettin into it AND AS PASSIONATE! about collecting etc to keep it goin for a wee while yet! oh Cheers Karen for sendin me that tune a while back..Now im off to hit the hay... Seen some guy in Manchester a few years ago, think he may have came up from London he was wearin a baggy shirt with a fire design on it, think he may have been in that soul function vid briefly when it showed a lil clip of the 100club??? not sure but i thought he was rather impressive.. oh and there was a lady at the Edinburgh all-dayer ( england v scotland ) this year who i thought was fantastique, spins where great and she danced more than any geezer....

Hey Wendy, i've unfortunately bot been in good health over the last few months, but this brother up and running and cant feckin wait for Saturday, only perk of being house bound was sitting in front of ebay spending money i dont have on records! yeah just recieved in the post this morning a mint Apollas - MrCreator ( white demo) which i bought for 2.50Euro thats cheaper than a sandwich for feck sake! Got lucky there! Will be there on Saturday DEFO!

well showing my age and still lack of knowledge cant believe this one isnt more known though as some of the top Dj's from the Uk about ( no names heehee ) didnt know it. Great to know that even a young'un like me can pick up rare records and I'm poor student! ( yes at this minute everyones saying bollox students aren't hard done by these days! ) well thanks for the info guys! I've still got the feelin this one will be fetchin bigger bucks in the near future and maybe not sure we'll see.
