There is a lady who goes to the DDA and was also at the last Taste of Honey with her husband, i always forget her name as im terrible with names but she's a great dancer and a lovely lady...its obvious when you watch her how much she is loving the tunes!! Had good craic over in Germany, dont really give a shit if anyone hates the track, i dont mind it myself got a good beat with nice break and good old voice.. i've heard way worse in the charts so its a little refreshing. Being asked to dance LIVE in front of a viewing of over 5 million viewers was great laugh, all dancers northern soul lovers and Danielle was one of the dancers who featured in the 'ONce upon a time in wigan' Play...a lovely girl who could move also.. Jon Clarke and Paul Walker lots of you will know and Jill Davies and Beck Exley are also Manchester area soulies who've been attending events for years... I hear ya mate, thought you were only kidding anyhoo.. northern dancin is really picked up watchin and practicing at the house or wherever cause you love it and ya need to get out and express yourself when that tune comes on..dance classes, well i think maybe if someone really has no confidence to get up and would like to learn a few steps then fair enough and then they'll hopefully get to get there own style by going to nights etc. but doing it cause you thinnk its cool or have no real love for the music etc. then its a bit shitty... L

not so far just loads of people well gettin into it, no piss takers thank fook... never mastered the hokey cokey myself! ... come down and see for yourself... You put your right leg in..or is left first?? aaagghhh darn it... L

Hola, half way through the tour and its going well though very tired! getting to play Northern (as well as funk, 6ts R& to a full house every night of the week has been great and also daunting when the crowd arent there to dance and a gig crowd are very different to a soul crowd..there all crammed together trying to get a good spot near the front.. soo basically i just take the opportunity to play em a nice mix of some classics and rarer bits also some things i think are more automatically pleasing to the ear on first listen and that'll get the heads nodding before Duffy comes on... I've had soo many people coming up asking for cd's, talking about Northern and how they love it and others who never came across the tunes and just wanted to know where they could get some etc etc. there is definitely more and more younger people getting into the music..most arent interested in the rarity of records and who's got what and the politics mainly.. they just want to listen to tunes and dance!.. hopefully our club night in Manchester will really take off after the success of the first night, im gutted i cannot go to other nights i regularly attend but the oppertunity to help be apart of creating a new and fresh soul scene like what they have in so many european cities now couldnt be missed and is BADLY needed in the Uk... Im totally missing going to nights at the minute and havent been to one in over a month! as im on tour ... .will try and make up for it v soon... Hope your all well In Soul Liam

Hi there I've lost my copy of Jesse Fisher and was wondering if anyone happenned to have stumbled upon an extra one in there box etc. i thought ihad misplaced it in the house over the last months but now have went through every pile and its not there i havent a clue what venue etc. i may have left it at etc which isnt too helpful..
