This Saturday night we have a new Soul Club starting in the Nook in Chorlton (wilbraham Road) Its a small intimate venue with no big dance floor or owt though there is a little room to have a shuffle, myself and Les Hare (King Bee records) will be playing along with a guest, a top selection of mainly rare 6ts, crossover, 7ts to modern soul with a touch of R&B for good measure..oh it's free in and great selection of beers!.. Hi there i bought a pair of dancing shoes last week as the last ones literally fell apart after 5 or so years.. and searched high and low for another pair, you know what its like trying to break in new shoes or trying to get used to new ones... Bought these beauties wore them at Prestatyn for first time and there fookin magic, soo light, comfortable kinda mix of shoe and trainer but just right... anyhow it was such a pain in arse trying to find a decent pair that i thought i'd share it with the rest of you for anyone who's out there looking for a good dancing shoe i would recommend these!! www.oobashoo.com p.s. i bought the Pablo - Black ones, mint!!!.... well worth it... I was chatting to a dj last year who's words to quote him " if it's cheap its shit " ... i was about to rant and say what a load of shite! but i could tell it would be flogging a dead horse...just couldnt understand that mind set.. I don't hate anything about the scene, as hate takes up too much of my energy and i got better things to use it on..but the 'Scene' just dissapoints me on a regular basis.. Concentrating on whats great about it, the people we're mates with and the tunes we love is what i'm about.. L
