How annoying is it to spend 2 or 3 hours going through a dealers large database of records for every genre, ordering 3 or 4 records from said dealer, only to be told that he hadn't got them anymore cos he forgot to update the lists. So f.....ing annoying and not the first time it's happened just lately. Wastes my time and his time possibly looking for the records and replying to me. Also sellers that advertise records, you reply wanting one and they can't even be bothered to reply. Rant over!!

So sad to hear this news. Lived about 150 yards away from him as kids at Holmewood near Chesterfield and was in the same class at school as his sister Sharon. Went to my first nighter with him at Samantha's circa 76. We were walking from Sheffield station when two cars screeched to a halt and three of four coppers jumped out, pinned us to a wall and frisked us and our bags for drugs. Mona was as calm as you like, I was shitting myself. They moved us on when they didn't find anything. I'll never forget that night. Have seen him out and about a few times in recent years and have had a few chinwags with him. My thoughts are with his family. Andy

Particularly agree with the second paragraph. I tried the Temps on a small Steepletone I have downstairs and it skipped like crazy but when I tried on my Numark decks upstairs they all played fine right through.
