Never thought of this before, But when I looked @ this photo I realised that Simon Preston looks like one of the Royal Family.....I don't know which he resembles most as all the OLD Royals Looked Alike....Anyway here is a few suggestions....King Edward ....or Prince Michael of Kent ???? Very Sad....Nige wasn't a close friend, But he was one of those guys who was where we was at over the last 20 years or so & I always used to talk to & share a few piss taking moments with making comments about this & that. He had a great sense of humour, & Sue & I was here @ The 100 Club the night this foto was taken & he was on top form....Very Very Sad news, Our thoughts are with ALL his Friends & Family.... I remember that they announced that the Oldies Allnighters were going Fortnightly.... I took a car load up All the way from London....Low & Behold we got the Wrong Week Nothing on in Wigan that night at All....& we wern't the only ones, But can't remember the date.... Jon Buck

just talking about Small Soul venues, & got talking about The General Pickton in Kings Cross, used to be in their function room which was like someones Front Room, not that big at all but always a very good night I think Danny Everard ran it when he used to live with Sean McKluskey....never really got more than about 20 people in there but they were the right 20....Always a good night.... ....Anyone here used to go ???? or did you have a similar do ???? Harlem Child....my wife Sue said one day this is good enough to play @ a Nighter, So I started playing it as an ending record @ the Leighton Buzzard Allnighters in the mid 80's....this is superb never seen it on a single,available on Drifters Greatest Hits, which you should pick up @ Woolworths or I have even seen in a Petrol Station....I have a sound file I will try & find & post later....
