If you were around in the mid 80's you know that there was more going on, on the Northern Scene than just Stafford....The Allnighters preceded by the Alldayer's ran @ the Unicorn Club in Leighton Buzzard from 1984 & moving to the Bossard Halll running till 1990....I have a large selection of photo's that mainly feature "The RSG Buzzard Day's" & a lot more @ Members Gallery....RSG Hall of Fame vol 1 & 2 ....RSG new exellent venue June 3rd @ Bicester see Flyers for details.... I remember being @ the 100 Club in about 1988 Me & Pete Wickam & Ion we where all Tripping Big Time, There was 2 spinners there 1 a bloke I think it was Simon done a spin & wacked me in the face, Said sorry & I was so numb from Tripping didn' feel it....There was a girl & as she spun I think she had Nuts & Bolts in the botom of her skirt & she caught Pete & I with her bits....Simon done another spin @ the back of the 100 Club & got caught up with the curtain quite funny I am sure it took him a few min just to get out of them.... In reflection it must be said that not long after this concert he went into a coma that he never recovered from....So as sad as it may be this probably was one of his last show's....But you noticed that after he died every male black performer was laying claim to have grown up on some street corner or other claiming to have been Jackie Wilson's best Buddie.... the 2 that come to mind is Barry Collins in Southend somewhere look's after a lot of good acts & is Lorraine Sylver's boyfriend....The other is Henry Sellers, Used to look after all the good Black Artists that used to tour & live here ..... Jon Buck
