  1. There are few SAFE predictions on the scene now. And, yes, i have been shocked by tunes that go too cheaply aswell.
  2. YOUR right. I just put that on another thread and got a bollocking of John!
  3. Yes, what a beautiful tune. Taken me two years to get one. Playing it out Friday, cant wait!
  4. John, Im in no way saying you are mad mate! All you do is sell them, its up to people what THEY pay. Im just trying to get my head around the prices that some people pay on records, that to me , are easy enough to find! Or Not Rare. Sorry about the Lenny Williams, that must be an urban myth thats circulating. BUT, I dont feel you should take it as an insult when I question WHY buyers are pushing prices up to ridiculous levels! I was asking a general question, not having a dig! Also, I NEVER see some of these so called TOP DJ's looking through sales boxes, certainly not mine. Where things like Betty and Lenny and Sity and James and more, lingered for a LONG time........It just seems that sometimes they are fed by your site (not your problem or fault) rather than their own curiosity. Just an observation.
  5. It got moved Rachel, so I had to post to myself to find it!!
  6. WHAT SECTION IS THIS? IM LOST??
  7. Some nice stuff Kev Ive managed to pick up James Monroe - Frontiersman Of The Galaxy Herman Hitson - You Cant Keep A Good Man Down Antonio Castro - W.E.L.F.A.R.E. Chuck Overton - Is It Possible Joe and George - No One Loves You Virgil Henry - I'll Be True Gail - Consideration to name a few
  8. Desires - Oh What A Lonely Night Wilma Scott - Its A Mean Old World Tommy Hunt - Just A Little Taste ...to name a few

    Wanted

Have Vox Pop got it up? How much? I can ask them to drop price. Let me know.
  10. Wow BettyBrooks - Funky Funky just went for £480 pounds!! on JMs! My question is, what fools are paying this sort of money. Steve Thomas broke the tune about 3/4 years ago, it got hammered and that was that....sold mine for £130. Same with Lenny Williams - I couldn,t Find Nobody, apparently it sold for £700 on Manships...Again, sold mine for £150 (more than its worth! ) Are these people who dont get out and only shop on JM's site? Or millionaires who dont care about hiking ALL the prices up?

  17. Tune...both sides!! Should be £75 - £100.

  19. WELL SAID REG. Loads of you agreeing with a pseudo youngster, posing under a fictitious name and not prepared to identify themselves. Just about sums it all up really.
  20. Uh, dont really get that hilarious comment Dave. Anonymous is the opposite of knowing their name... just for future reference mate.
  21. me thinks its an imposter posing as a young voice of reason!
  22. Descarte quoted the latin himself - I think you'll find you have the boot!
  23. "Cogito ergo sum" - Descarte People seem fond of quotes on here So here's a reply for 'Man Ray'
  24. Well, i fell asleep halfway through that advertisemaent Kev! BUT, just in case im one of the loud mouths you refer to..(eg. anyone who doesn't tow your line!). Ive had 31 years on the scene as a dancer and lover of 'soul and soulful people'. I feel that i have contributed a GREAT deal to the scene, in the same way that EVERY other punter has. Because, 'big fella', we ARE the scene. Without us there is no YOU! On that basis alone I AM your equal....without people dancing to the tunes you broke, guess what? They wouldn't have broke! In addition to that, and I dont want to go into a long advertisement, I put on a play that had a combined audience of 100,000 people....devised, directed and produced it! So, dont try to portray US (whoever WE are) as illiterate hooligans! That my friend is a definition reserved solely for yourself! I dont give a flying F--k about your history, if your deeds today are so contrived and void of any semblance of 'soul' that it takes 18 months to apologise for 'outrageous behaviour' towards our friends! Indeed, if the matter had not been raised again , on this forum, I doubt ANY apology or recompense would have been forthcoming! And, I dont know who you refer to as people who you wont give spots to? But just in case anyone thinks thats me..NO F--king way. I have boycotted your venues as a matter of 'soul' and moral principle for a very long time. Anyway, I am truley bored with you, your music and your lame excuses. So, have a profitable christmas and I hope Santa brings you a 'soul' Peace paul-s p.s. To the poor 'young thing' who made the suprisingly anonymous post, about unity and love and inspiration and other trite comments!....... Whats your name love?
